Good fit, photos in ad are accurate, and no surprises. I like that the aluminum alloy (6061) is mentioned instead of just aluminum alloy. 6061 is a good chemistry even DC as-cast billet or especially heat treated yet T-heat treatment was not mentioned. In addition, a few of the stem adapters listed on Amazon had undesirable sharp machined corners instead of a nice blend like this stem between the two diameters which is desirable. I used anti-seize on the bolt threads and sliding surfaces, polished the angle surface and cleaned the cast iron threads with solvent / compressed air before assembly. ... show more

Great value. Put on single speed conversion bike. Just for around town. My advice is if going to convert quill to thread less and go off road spend the extra and get adapter with upper ridge by stem cap. If stem comes loose on this design. Your bars come off.
