Description

Water Heater Thermostat Number WH10A. Temperature Range 110-170F. With adjustable slotted knob. Has Hi Limit Reset Button (L180). Designed to be used with the Upper Heating Element of the Water Heater. Engineered to be more sensitive and accurate than conventional thermostats, APCOM water heater thermostats are the most popular in the industry. Our patented design encapsulates the bimetal thermostat sensor, protecting it from the temperature changes of other components. This feature means you get a thermostat with enhanced temperature sensitivity for accurate, reliable system control. We've also designed our thermostats to be remarkably easy to install. Our wiring terminals feature "tear drop" holes that enter into the bind head screw terminal, making it easier to lock the wire into place. This speeds the assembly process, and helps ensure that connections are made properly. In addition, our limit control/safety override feature automatically trips at 180 degrees to improve safety. • Works great. Just be sure to double-check the location of the screws to attach the wires.
The water from our hot water heater suddenly became scalding. Plumber said upper thermostat was bad. Found this on Amazon and replaced it myself. The screws for the power were in a different location then the one I was replacing so I had to extend the two power wires about 2 inches. Other than that, the install was quick and my water temp has been great since. ... show more

  • Matched the thermostat in my hot water heater
I was happy to find a match the thermostat that was in my hot water heater. There are a lot of options that are close but not the same.
