This unit is perfect for 3:00pm in the afternoon after geek-necking at a computer screen all day at work and you need to work out the kinks for a break or before shutting it down for the day. I do a lot of graphics and CAD designing, so you have to laser-focus on details and when I go to roll my head around after a while, it's like snap, crackle and pop. This unit is the perfect fix for the problem and gets to the root of the issue and not where it's not needed. I tried a massaging chair insert, but it was mainly for lower/lumbar, mid and upper back/shoulders and even though it felt good, it didn't help my neck at all. The seat version was also very bulky and hard to store it away, whereas this one I can easily fold it up and put it back in the box with plenty of room to do so unlike some products that after you remove them from the box, you can never get them back in the way they came. I don't mind that it's corded because I have a power strip at my desk, so it's no issue to plug in, plus if it were battery powered, the battery would need to be a higher watt hour to be able to power the massage heads since this is more than just vibrating motors and would add a lot to the bulk and weight of the unit. I tried one of the impact massagers and it worked okay, but you had to hold it and direct it, so it wasn't as relaxing as this one, which is sort of the point of using the massager in the first place... to relax. I like the way you can put your wrists through the loops to control the amount of pressure being applied with your arms down in a relaxed position and be able to shift it around to get different areas of your neck and shoulders, (even though it freaks my dog out when she sees me doing it). The price seems to be on point with others, even though there's a few “cheaper” units, those do have the controls higher up, which is one of the benefits this seller touts as being better lower down and I tend to agree with them on that. At the time of writing this review, there was a coupon that closed the gap on the cheaper units and made this one better-priced than most, so for value, it's a good deal. It was also shipped and received just two days even with a delivery disruption due to hurricane Beryl hitting our area at that time, so the shipping is fast. All in all, I give the unit 5- stars and it definitely is working good for me.

This is my second neck/shoulder massager. The design of the ball / roller stuff looked different than the one I had before so I thought I'd give this one a shot. The unit comes with a power supply as it's corded only. Cord seemed long enough to sit comfortably on my couch. The fabric used is a faux leather looking material with a soft feel. The fabric over the rollers is more of a mesh texture. Both feel great and the mesh was kinda silky feeling or smooth. Looks good too, I like the look of the material, looks premium. Has the typical buttons you'd see on these with power, cycle direction (also auto cycles on it's own) and heated function. There's an additional button as well for speed which is nice, I didn't have that on my older unit. I tested it out a bit and it felt fine. I don't know that I noticed a big difference or any difference from those I've tried before but it worked. It did have a slight squeaky sound in one roller but not sure if that's going to stick around or work itself out yet. Didn't bother me though. I'd say it works as expected and looks nicer than I expected. One thing I noticed, there's a zipper for the material that runs the entire length of the unit. I think you could remove it completely if you needed to clean it or repair the fabric. Internally, it's simple looking with a styrofoam piece in the middle to hold the rollers/other main parts and some foam on the sides.

I first tried this massager on my neck and shoulders right after a long workout, and it felt great! The massage movement (speed and rotation) is controlled by buttons near the edge of the massager, where there also are holes where you can rest your arms. The controls are easily accessible and visible without having to remove the massager. The speeds are slow, medium and fast; I found the slow speed to be the most relaxing, but that’s totally subjective. The massager contains no batteries and operates only when plugged into a power outlet, which can be either a standard electric outlet (6’ cable) or a car’s power port (with a 4’ cable). A small user page with illustrations is also included. Poorly written, but with good illustrations and understandable enough. The four buttons on the control panel: (1) power on/off (2) rotation of massaging action (3) speed, and (4) heat on/off. Unfortunately, there are no visual settings such as an LED light to let you know which buttons are active or what the settings are, and in my opinion this is the biggest design flaw. For example, I could hardly feel any heat despite pressing the heat button. So, it’s possible I accidentally pressed the heat button twice, turning it off, but without a visual indicator, I couldn’t tell. However, the massager does not remember previous settings, so turning the power off resets everything. After turning the massager power on, the massaging action works for about 15 minutes and then stops; to continue with the massage, you just have to press the power button again for another 15 minutes. If there was some indicator showing the active settings, or at least a memory function to remember my favorite settings, I would have rated the massager 5 stars.

This heated massager for the most part worked exactly as described, delivering a great massage experience. It's easy to use and perfect for targeting areas like the neck, back, and shoulders, but I personally found it less effective on my belly due to the ticklish sensation. However, I wish the motor was a bit stronger to provide a deeper tissue massage, especially on my shoulders. The heating function is a nice touch but could be warmer for added relief. Overall, a good product with room for improvement in intensity.
