I love how soft it is! It's also lightweight, so it's not super heavy like a lot of heating blankets. I live in Florida & it's just what I was looking for. The blanket seems to be well made & works fine. I've only used it on the lower settings, but it's still plenty warm. I haven't washed it yet, just used some fabric freshener to take away the slight odor, since it was new. The only negative thing about it, is you can feel the wires inside, easily. But they are not uncomfortable, in my opinion. I think the softness compensates for that. I would definitely recommend you buy one for yourself!

I got this heated blanket throw right in time! It has become really chilly in Chicago and this blanket has been so useful. On one side it is Sherpa and on the other side is a soft fabric. It is nice and thick, even if you don’t turn on the power. I love how you can’t feel the heated wires that run through the entire blanket. It is made of such good quality. This heated blanket has 10 different heat levels! You’re also able to keep the heat on for up to eight hours with an automatic shut off feature. this makes me feel safe when I use this blanket. The remote that comes with this blanket is very easy to use. There is literally only three buttons on it, which control the heat level, the automatic shut off timer, and the power. The temperature in this blanket will range anywhere from 86 to 122°F. This blanket is perfect for the winter time. This heated blanket is also machine washable. All you have to do is detach the remote controller and you can wash the blanket on a gentle cycle. I recommend air drying to avoid potentially damaging the wires inside the blanket. The best part about this blanket is that it doesn’t overheat to the point where it’s burning your skin. The temperature and softness is just right to make you feel cozy and comfortable. This will also be a great gift for anyone that is always cold!

UPDATE: this product got so hot on a level four that it melted the wires. This could have started a fire. Now it is just a soft blanket. We got the full size cause I get cold at night but my husband gets hot! This is so soft and cuddly and is warm enough to keep me comfortable through the night. The animals all want to cuddle up with me cause it is so soft!

My last electric blanket only lasted one year after the wiring came apart after washing it. Hopefully this one will last longer. I like this blanket so far. It's very warm without plugging it in due to the sherpa lining on the other side. When you do need the extra warmth, the blanket heats up within seconds which is a plus for me. The controller is pretty basic but it it works to control the timer and heat level. My only gripe I have so far is when you first take the banket out to wash it, so many little fibers get all over the place, even after you wash it. It does seem to stop shedding after you use it for a while. Hopefully it doesn't continue to shed the next time I need to wash the blanket. Otherwise, this is a very comfy and warm blanket to use when you don't want to turn on a heater.

Right out of the box it works well. Currently sitting on the couch with this heated blanket on. It is soft and heats up well. I really like that the wires in it are thinner and not super bulky like other heated blankets I've had. I got the throw size which is perfect for sitting on the couch or at your computer chair. Even if you wanted an added layer of warmth on the bed this will do the trick.

When I first removed this blanket from the package I gasped out loud! It has this beautiful kind of shimmer that I wasn’t expecting! It is so soft and I wanted to be in love with it! The first thing I noticed was that I could feel the wires in the blanket. That was a little disappointing but it was so soft and the shimmer and color still had my heart! Next, I noticed all this tiny shiny hairs collecting around the edge of my phone as I was using the blanket, first picture. Then I realized the shiny hairs were all over my clothing too, second picture. I hoped this was because the blanket was new. I still wanted to love it! As I continued using this blanket I realized that the heat setting is inconsistent. Some days heat level 5 makes spots on the blanket too hot to touch and some days heat level 10 isn’t able to warm up my feet. I decided I could deal with this because of the shimmer and the color. After using the blanket for about a month I’m now noticing white threads sticking out from the blanket, picture three, almost daily. I purchased this blanket as a Black Friday deal so I’m not sorry I tried it but sadly I wouldn’t order it again. It’s so soft and beautiful but I’m not sure it’s worth dealing with the mess.
