This tape is different from other brands I have tried. The others are very thin and almost brittle. This tape has a little stretch and give to it, making it easy to get a very secure sublimation seam. It does not discolor the items and holds tight throughout the heat press process. I bought this heat resistant tape for holding down my sublimation paper on my shirt blanks so it wouldn't move the paper as I pressed it in my swing away heat press. That was definitely a mistake, it left horrible yellow marks on the shirt and I wasn't even using a white shirt. If I had been I can imagine how bad it would have been. I only pressed for 30 seconds and at 385⁰f and to my surprise the yellow marks appeared. I knew I shouldn't have cheaped out on the tape. So I ended up buying Cricut heat resistant tape and although it's almost $5 a roll it works great and leaves no residue or stains. So overall just don't cheap on on the heat resistant tape, and definitely don't buy this brand. ... show more
