Absolutely beyond maddening to work with. From simply trying to separate the clear layer from the tinted product to the glue remaining on the glass when trying to smooth out a wrinkle; most frustrating. The unsightly blotches caused by glue sticking to the glass vice the product when smoothing wrinkles was unacceptable. I was so unhappy with the end result that I removed the whole thing... only to find the glue residue extremely hard to remove. Acetone worked fairly well. Might be doable on a small window with easy access, but beyond that I wouldn't wish the task on anyone. ... show more

I researched a lot and went home depot. After that, I decided to purchase the vvivid product. For patio window, I did not want to have thin joint line and this product is best. When I purchased this product there was no review but, I tried and end up with the best outcome. Light has been reduced and still plenty of light coming thru and most important thing is privacy. Now my wife is very satisfied. When you install, at least two people needed. Wet wet wet window and both sides of film and then you will see the great results. I waited a couple of weeks before I leave this review. So far no problem at all. One thing you need to know is this product has liner. Before install you need to separate and sticky side toward window. I already purchased another smaller window vvivid film. ... show more

The film arrived on time and in good order. When applied, the film went on well. All bubbles were removed. The next day there were many bubbles that reappeared on the dried film. I am not happy with the results.

    • It works if you follow simple instructions and remove backer film
This stuff worked great for me. Watch the video that is on the product's page in AMAZON. He tells you what to do and shows you as he goes. You will need the bottle f adhesive film liquid (I bought mine at Home Depot). If you pull off the backing film - yes there is backing film on the actual UV film. I know you think I'm wrong because the film right out of the box is THIN I mean ultra skinny. Attach a piece of scotch tape on each side of the tilm and gently pull the backing will reveal itself. One backing is not sticky - the film you want to apply to your window will be sticky on one side. That sticky side should go against the glass. Spray everything - the glass, both sides of the film (I sprayed the sticky side of the film and applied it to the wet window then I sprayed the other side of the film once it was up. Squeegy the heck out of it. Up. down, sideways, left, right. ... show more

Not very dark but works well. I put one on side of the window and even though the tint is very minimal during the day it does block the heat. around sunset time is when you really start to notice the windows are tinted.

Please do not waist your money!!!!!! I'm not a negative person I have never written a review but wtf this sucks!!! I stuggl d to apply it and that's a long long long story!!! And then whe. I thought I had it up as wellnas anyone could get it... two days later it fell!!!!!! For no reason at all!!!! Just out of no where down it went!!!!so I put it back up only because my husband whines so much about the neihbors seeing us.... I'm sitting outside watching my husband. Act like his usual idiot self.., and there's no difference from one window with the tinted crap to the other without it!!! Waste of my time and money and more time and more of my money! So many attached photos.. have it applied to some windows and not to others. Can you tell? It's applied to the right large window(as perfect as you can get it which sucks) spoked sloppy to the left touching window and the small window to the left actually had about a foot of tint running horizontally ... show more
