I'm using these for storing tea I get from a specialty tea shop. So some are loose leaf and some in unpackaged sachets. When I buy them they're in larger sealed pouches so I was having a hard time keeping them organized in the drawer. It was a mess! And these were a great solution. I put a portion in snack size ziploc to keep the tea fresh since the tins don't have an air proof seal. Tea is supposed to be kept out of the light to elongate freshness too, thus the tins for darkness! I can fit 6-7 sachets and ~1.5oz of the loose leaf in a baggie in the tin depending on the type of tea. I got these to use for an order I got, and love them! They're different than the basic round ones, and the correct size! Have poured 3 candles and have no complaints so far besides a very VERY minor thing. I wish the lids snapped into place a bit more securely, but some shrink wrap around the tin will hold them in place for delivery! Will definitely order more when I need vessels! ... show more

I use these tins for my candle business, and they are the only tins I use. Yeah, there are a few that leak every few dozen or so, but overall, it's no different than any other vessel. Even glass vessel come broken sometimes, but you take it in stride. My customers love the sleek look and the nice size of the candles when finished. I recommend these for candles, just be sure to leak check them with water or something BEFORE you pour in your product, just to add a layer of quality control to your process. ... show more

I’ve purchased 100s of these tins for my massage oil candles. The square size is perfect for pouring. I can say of those many boxes I rarely have gotten any leaks however this last box I received I’ve had 8 out of 24 jars that has leaked which is very rare. The tins themselves work well, but they are advertised as 8oz and you can only fit about 6.5-7 ounces of candle in there because the lid dips down into the jar. ... show more
