Sad to discover that this product does not work. Perhaps it's just my luck, I was hoping that it would be a simpler/easy version to an actual sewing machine. Nice that it has a power button that allows the machine to run continuously instead of just the foot pedal like a traditional machine. The machine came with a fabric to hold the already threaded needle in place. However, the needle is slightly off position such that the groove does not line up to center facing the front, therefore, makes threading a bit awkward and difficult even though a needle threader is provided. Works fine, instructions are easy. I bought this one for the accessories and thread but the thread is very cheap quality and almost impossible to unwind as the starter end is buried. Didn't come with the empty bobbins so had to unwind the awful colors to create my own. Had trouble popping out the bobbin peg to wind new bobbins. But overall, handy for the price. ... show more

This product does all right on small sewing projects with thin cotton. It doesn’t have a reverse function, so the first stitches are hard to secure which can be a challenge. The machine often glitches and that messes up a sewing pattern if you’re planning on doing more than a single line. It can’t do thick material such as jean because there’s not enough room between the needle and the base to fit that fabric in. ... show more

The machine looked great when it arrived and it was ready to go right out of the box. It was a great size! I wanted something small. I used it once and it was fine. It was only a 2 minute job but everything went well. Used it a second time and the bobbin on the bottom got all tangled. I untangled it and tried again... Got all tangled again. Tried many times to get the machine working the way it's supposed to and it just would not stop getting tangled. I don't get it. I was not trying to sew anything thick or difficult. That bottom bobbin just would not cooperate at all. I ripped out all the thread and rethreaded it from scratch several times. I tried using different fabric to see if maybe it just didn't do well with the first one, with the same results. No matter what I tried to do, it just wouldn't sew correctly for more than 5 or 6 stitches each time before I had a giant tangled mess on my hands again. Super disappointed because I really really wanted this machine to work out. The price and the size fit my needs perfectly... but I actually need a machine that *sews* too so unfortunately this one just wasn't it. I reluctantly returned it. ... show more
