This purchase is a 7' x 10' "rug." We love it. It looks realistic, it's unbelievably soft under your feet, and it laid flat even right after it was unrolled. We are using it on an upper deck as a rug. It had a strong odor, which is typical, but we couldn't detect after the rug had been outside for a couple of hours. When you first unroll it, the grass is mashed pretty flat but within an hour or so it started springing up and very quickly became lush looking. About three years ago we bought a 4' x 6' piece of this fake grass for the same space and have loved it. We didn't buy it specifically for the cats, but they lounged around on it. It kept its color and didn't fade even in the hot Texas sun. It didn't fall apart and the structure is still fine. Easy to clean - just rinse it off and let it dry. We moved it to a lower patio in front of the door. It still looks good enough to use! We wanted a larger rug of the same stuff and bought this. It looks pretty much like the smaller piece that has held up so well so we think this large rug will also end up looking great for years.

This looks so good under my patio set. I love it!! Feels and looks like real grass. The only hard part was fluffing the grass from packaging. Most normal to do.

Our roof deck gets so hot in the summer sun that previous expensive outdoor carpets disintegrated in a couple of years. For the same price I was able to buy two 10 x 6.5 ft pieces of Sunvilla turf. It arrived beautifully packaged and was easy to unroll and position. The grass fibers are firmly affixed to a high quality backing. Absolutely no shedding. The backing is perforated and ridged to allow sufficient drainage in the heavy rain we experienced after installation. Be sure to cut away the turf to expose your roof drain. The visible seam between the pieces shown in the picture was subsequently improved by trimming the backing edges with a scissors. Trimming and cutting was a snap. The turf is beautiful, soft and fun to walk on. Highly recommended!

I bought this product because the 2 little dogs that we own have destroyed the yard and I wanted something that would work well year round in Pennsylvania winters and the summers. I had an 11 by 28 area to cover so I ordered 4 rolls of 7 by 13 It made them easier to handle by myself and my wife. The hardest part I had was leveling the ground out getting rid of some landscaping stones that had been pushed down into the dirt use the weed barrier underneath and laid it out on top didn't wanna typical flat perfectly flat yard want a more natural look to it to blend in with everything else and it went down nice. I like the product is easy to install the dogs love it and no more muddy feet in the wintertime in Pennsylvania. I would definitely recommend this product. I will update this review after a couple months of Winter time but so far everything seems real good. UPDATE. this product survived the winter very well. A good cleaning with a brush and hose and raked out when dried and the stuff looks new. Very happy with the product. The cut edges are doing well. The black stings from the backing do show up occasionally at the seams but a simple snip with scissors will fix it. Really pleased with this product.

This is my second try with artificial grass. SunVilla got it right! Most important Factor - IS IT SOFT? Yes! It's soft and VERY comfortable to walk on, play on and gently fall on, and we have it on top of concrete. Second most important Factor - Do I have to use INFILL? If so, how much? Does it have to be envirofill? Silica sand? Any chance I can just use play sand at $5/50 lb bag from Home Depot? I emailed the seller during the shipping process and asked if it was okay to use just play sand (because it's FIFTEEN times less expensive than envirofill) and he said people have had success with play sand but that INFILL WASN'T NECESSARY. Wow. The artificial grass that's being replaced (see pics) NEEDED infill to stand straight up like real grass would. When I read that infill wasn't necessary, I was like, yeah, we'll see about that. No, you DON'T need to use infill!! That's awesome. Now, having said that even with the SunVilla grass standing up straight (for the very most part) infill does add weight to keep it from sliding, a little bit of bounce (rubber and envirofill type infill) and more cushion. So I see how infill could still be a benefit but NOT necessary (see pics). Third most important Factor - Durability. Will the color fade over time? Will it hold up against little feet running all over it for years? Don't know yet but I will report back if that does happen. Fourth most important Factor - Does it look real? Yep. If you put your face right on the ground, then, no it doesn't. If you're standing up or even sitting on it. Yeah, it really does. So far I'm Super happy with it and definitely recommend it! Grass looks really great. I kept seeing complaints about similar products having creases and looking cheap . This looks really nice and has a good thickness. Also they ship it rolled up so that eliminates any creases. Perfect and If I move and need more, I now know where to buy it

This grass was shipped very well and looks great!! We are very happy with this product and it’s is very durable. Easy installation as well. I did it a little different that some YouTube videos but because of drainage, I went a little more in depth with my prep. 1. Dug out 8-10” of dirt from the area. 2. I used pressure treated 2x4s to frame out the area and used supports to ensure the main 2x4s stayed against the patio and fence. 3. Filled in crushed rock for drainage. 4. On the top layer, I dumped and spread paver base. 5. I watered the paver base and made sure to contour it a little so water wouldn’t settle anywhere on the grass. 6. I tamped the entire area well to avoid settling. 7. I secured a weed membrane on top of the paver base. 8. Laid out the grass on top of the weed membrane and nailed each corner making sure there were no wrinkles. Then used a staple gun to secure the grass to the 2x4s every few inches. 9. I spread play sand throughout the grass about 1-2 pounds per square feet. This weighs down the grass and then you brush in the sand with a push broom. This also makes the grass stand up. 10. Enjoy!! Just beautiful grass from this company!! Highly recommend!!
