We purchased this for my 90 year old mother to use at amusement park, etc. She loves it. It is lightweight yet sturdy. It is light enough for her to get in and out of her vehicle, easy to set up and break down. It helps her walk when she is tired. She always has a place to sit down with back support. When she gets tired we can push her. The wheels are great! They roll over bumpy terrain nicely. My mom feels supported as she walks. She wheelchair can still be pushed easily and steadily when folded up which makes navigating tight spaces a breeze. The pattern on the seat and back is attractive, so it doesn't feel like we escaped from the hospital with the wheelchair. We love this chair!

Overall, the chair is good. It is lightweight so easy to put into and out of suv. It is easy to maneuver and the brakes do a decent job of holding it in place. There are two negatives. The first is the foot rest. It folds up under the seat when in storage, but when the chair is expanded to sit a person, the foot rest is either in the way of sitting into the chair, or it is still up under the seat making it extremely uncomfortable to sit down. The second negative is this chair is not suitable for any but a smooth surface. The wheels are too small to roll easily over grass and gravel is almost impossible. 10 inch wheels plus a redesign of the foot rest would make this an awesome chair!

I couldn’t be happier with this chair! I bought it for my 94 year old mother. It’s comfortable, provides good back support, and is a breeze to maneuver in and out of medical appointments. It’s perfect for narrow doorways too. Folds up easy too. The only negative is that it’s a bit tricky to get in to with the position of foot rest. You either need to slide sideways into the chair or step into the foot rest. I’d buy it again.

I checked out many wheelchairs and decided on this one for the specific reasons I needed a new one. This wheelchair may not be perfect for everyone; but, it is for me, and these are the reasons: I needed the perfect chair for the house. It is smaller than most chairs, yet the seat is wide enough for most people. The foot rest easily folds away. It can maneuver around corners easily and gets through smaller doorways. It also, folds up extremely easy for travel, and maneuvers well at other homes and locations. This chair is perfect for all my requirements, so I gave it five stars. I also think it is a very attractive wheelchair, seems well made and came fully assembled with a carrying bag (which I don’t need; but it’s nice). This chair is very well priced for everything it offers. Things that may not work for you. The seat is higher up than most chairs, due to the foot rest being higher. If you are not planning to push the chair around with your feet, this isn’t a problem, it also is not a problem for taller people, a 5’10” person is using it easily. Also, it is a transport wheelchair, so I would not recommend it for all day, every day use, due to the low back and no padding on the seat (you could easily add your own padded seat). The person that is currently using it is in bed most of the time. So the long term use is not needed, functionality is most important and this chair meets every requirement. This is a great chair, I highly recommend it.

I bought this for my elderly mother who has mobility issues. The design of the foot rests renders the chair useless because they cannot be folded up or down while someone is sitting in it and they are too bulky and awkward to step over. Only way she can get into the chair is if the foot rests are folded up and her feet are left to dangle which is not good for obvious reasons. It seems to be well constructed but useless for someone who cannot get into it.

This transport chair is AMAZINGLY lightweight for the sturdy look and feel. Very good quality. BUT if you go over a bump, your caregiver will need to to reverse the chair so the person riding is going backwards — and the person behind can lift it up a bit over the transom or edge. UPDATE: then the footrest is up (collapsed so you can get on it) the outer edge of the footrest is slightly above the seat, with a screw head on top. I hurt my leg on that while transferring onto the chair. I solved the problem by putting a 2” cushion on the seat, which raises it above the folded footrest.

This chair is nice, small enough to fit in a trunk of a small sedan car. We have traveled with it and it's easy to fold, very light able to lift easy. However, the back prong on one side started to not work, and screws are becoming loose. But we have had it for maybe a little over a year, we don't use it daily.
