I use these often, from walking my trash to the road to working on cars and working under my house. I got my first one as a gift and took it fishing, I waded out and forgot it was in my pocket. These are not waterproof it never worked the same again. I don't use the handsfree mode but have tried it out and it works good. These last a reasonable amount of time on a single charge and longer on the low light settings. The lights are bright and the headband is comfortable and easy to adjust. Only thing I would change on it is a 5min warning flash when the battery is getting low. They are worth the money, but the glue holding the band/power cord in place is pealing on both of them, currently not causing any problems ... show more

Best Christmas present ever! I love the range of the light and the brightness. The batteries last for a really long time. I like that it is rechargeable instead of switching out batteries. It is very lightweight and of good quality; you forget you're wearing a headlamp at all.
