My old KVM handled 4k only at 30Hz. This one can handle 4K at 144Hz and 8K at 60Hz. It comes with a wired remote switch, 4x USB 3 cables and 12V@1Amp power supply. EDID feature makes it emulate monitor’s EDID and make it available to all plugged devices when they request it, regardless whether their channel is selected at the time of request or not. My old KVM didn’t have this feature and I was getting the default 1024x768 resolution if I happened to plug my phone to the docking station when KVM was on another channel. To get higher resolution I always had to unplug the phone and plug it back in again when KVM was switched on the docking station channel. This new one sends the monitor's EDID to the docking station regardless what channel is currently selected. KVM also has an analog 3.5mm audio port. It has a built-in HDMI audio extractor to send audio to the analog port. If you plug a headset with a mic to this port it will send audio back to PC or laptop via USB. You just need to select the correct audio input device in Windows/Linux/Mac sound settings. Another simple but very important feature that was missing on my old KVM but present here is the power switch. You can quickly reboot KVM if something went wrong. With the old one I had to unplug everything as it sources power from both power supply and USB connections.

I have a failing KVM controlling 4 computers and needed a replacement and Camgeet's model sounded good. It ships in a compact box with all cables required to control 4 computers, along with a small manual, power adapter, and wired remote control. The setup is simple - hdmi cables connect to the graphics output of each computer and connect to the kvm switch. The same is true with the included usb cables. Then plug in the power and wired remote and power up your computers. The kvm switch has a button on the front plate to allow selecting the active input. I found responsiveness to be snappy and very comfortable for my everyday, average usage (no gaming). It advertises 8k video support but my max graphics cards capability is 4k. That said, it handles it masterfully. I have not tried with lower resolutions. The unit is compact and cable management with some velcro zip ties (not included) is helpful to reduce clutter and wire creep. I'm very happy I selected this Camgeet model and am looking forward to using it a long time.

Two computer KVM switches are a dime a dozen. If you need to switch more than two computers, but don't need an enterprise-level rack mount solution, intermediate level three or four computer can be somewhat difficult to find. Enter this device, which can handle four computers in a compact, yet rugged metal box. The ports are laid out in a logical top-bottom order that is easy to connect and keeps the cables neatly arranged out the back. Up to four USB devices (USB 3 even) can be connected, and switched between the various computers attached. Four direct-select buttons allow you to select the machine you want to use without having to cycle through, and a wired remote makes it so you can stash the unit out-of-sight if that is more convenient. USB-3 cables are included, which is nice since it uses the large USB-3 B standard that is slightly less common than the more square USB-2 B standard. However, it does NOT include HDMI cables. If this is a new setup for you and you only have the one cable for your monitor, this could be an issue - make sure to get the extra HDMI cables you'll need. Also, slightly annoying to me, on one of my BSD boxes whenever I switch to/from said box, the console is flooded with USB disconnected/connected messages. The messages make sense, but as I said are somewhat annoying to me. Other than those two minor annoyances however, this is a solid unit, and fills the gap nicely between two machine switches and larger, much more expensive "enterprise" KVM switchers for server racks. As such, if you have three or four computers you want to be able to share a single keyboard, monitor, mouse, and even possibly a couple more USB devices, this unit is well worth considering.

I have 2 port Display port KVM swich from KCeve, which has been working flawlessly for past year or so. Connected two laptops via 8K HDMI cables to Samsung 49inch monitor. Only getting 1080p signal. I had no issue with another KVM switch that uses either HDMI or DVI on the same setting. I only using it for keyboard and mouse switching for 4 laptops. You'll also need to provide 12V power (adapter included). No HDMI cables included. Does not work for me as complete KVM switch for either I've got defective one or does not support higher resolution output. Very disappointing..

I have an LG ultrawide, and tried several KVM switches with no luck. This is the first KVM with 4 ports that supports (3840 x 1600). I have a mini PC, tower PC, and Steam Deck plugged into this, and it switches seamlessly between them. The Steam Deck is set to 1080p, and the PCs are set to ultrawide. I expected problems, but so far, it switches resolutions with no issues. Finally, my search is over. This KVM is pricey, but it's the only one that works with my monitor. This unit uses an AC adapter, so you'll need an outlet nearby. The unit is made of metal with mechanical switches. The build quality is good, and typical of other KVMs in this price range. They do not include any HDMI cables. They only include 4 USB and 1 remote control cable. The only thing I dislike are the annoyingly bright LEDs on the front of the unit. I covered them with tape, and they're still visible, but easier on the eyes.
