I am one of those people who store "stuff" in every garage nook and cranny, including the rafters and other wood supports overhead. This eventually results in everything being stored such that almost everything else must be removed to access that one item I cannot do without. Using a standard push-up step ladder grew more difficult as the "stuff" already stored took up so much space there was no place to lean the upper end on. This ladder solves that problem, and provides padded hand hold rails (side and top/front) and a handy work tray. The icing on this cake is how easy it is to fold/unfold and store. I am so glad I ordered this stepstool! It holds up to 500 lbs. even though I didn't need that weight limit, but figured it had to be sturdy to hold that amount of weight! I love that it is very sturdy and does not move at all while standing on it. It folds easily and fits right inside my coat closet near my kitchen so it is handy to the whole house. I love that it is easy to open and I know it will not shift on me whatsoever. I have been wanting to wash down the fronts of my kitchen cabinets but my other step stool was kind of flimsy. I could not wait for this one to arrive. The very next day I washed down my kitchen cabinets and was thrilled I did not have to worry about it moving whatsoever the whole time unless I picked it up to move it over to the next row of cabinets. I did not need anyone to help hold it while I was on it. This is the only two step, step stool I will ever need. I highly recommend it to others who are wary of their current step stool even though they don't need one that holds 500 lbs. you will love that it is light weight but extremely sturdy and easy to open and fold and takes up very little space in your closet! Don't buy any other stool if you need a 2 step stool!!! This is the one and only you will ever need!!! It is well worth every penny! Put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. Comes with all you need to assemble it. I did watch a few videos on YouTube watching unboxings before hand. So I knew what to expect. The ladder is nice and stable. I weigh 200 lbs and am able to climb up to the 4th step without feeling nervous about the height, since I have the rails to hold onto. The steps are a little narrow. But the same with as most ladders. I would recommend this especially for older people, or people afraid of heights. Also being able to use the rails to pull myself up, is very helpful since I have arthritis in my knees. It is heavy for me to move. But then that helps keep it steady for climbing on. I needed this to wash the top of my vehicles mostly. The only time I asked God for anything growing up was to be over 6 foot and meet my dream girl ...I'm only 5'10" but I got the girl, so way better than a couple more inches. I like my stuff built strong, rugged. So when it claimed load strength 500 pounds, I said all righty then! (BTW I'm not 500lbs).     • Ladder w rails so you can keep your balance on top step
This ladder is very sturdy and let's you climb higher than some other ladders of the same size. It is nice to have the snap up shelf to hold tools and parts so you don't have to climb up and down to get them. The top rail allows you to lean forward and work on something over your head without feeling like you are going to fall. I was trying to install a light fixture in a room with high ceilings and was unable to position my folding extension ladder in a way that looking up didn't feel like falling off. This ladder felt very secure and stable and I was able to finish a project that I couldn't do using my little "guy" ladder. This is a great ladder! It was super easy to assemble….basically just putting the handles on. It’s easy to move around and to store.
