This mesh screen is made really well. It has plenty of magnets along the screen openings to help secure the closings. When you look out of it, especially the center area, you barely notice the mesh cause it looks like there is none.

I live in the south, so bugs galore the instant that the temp goes over 60. Our garage is attached to the house, three cars, with a shop on the other side. There's a wall on the backside of the garage, but not the front where we pull in. Since we have another garage off the shop, (I guess the last owners had five or six cars, idk), we use the middle garage as just more living space. We host outside parties there with a firepit just outside it, we have big dinners with up to 20-30 friends and family, and we do movie nights out there, since it's an extension of the house, fully insulated on three sides, and has power. That all works out great until the bugs come out, which is 8 months out of the year, minimum. So, I got this. And it works awesome. It goes up easily enough, but two or three people doing it makes it much easier installation. Since we do use this as a garage during storms as it's in a better spot to protect our cars than the other, I love that there are tie ups on the top of these screen! We can roll it up and out of our way when needed and that's really helpful. I like the magnetic closure. It helps keep the bugs out, and I don't have to constantly stop and put everything down, then come back and close this manually, like the one that I have out on the sunporch. The screen itself seems like a nice, sturdy weight. This has been up for a bit through some rainstorms and one nasty, wind advisory, tornado watch type storm, and it worked fine. Didn't break loose, sag, tear, none of that. It's a good price for something that means that I don't have to go searching for the bug repellent squares constantly, since those are always going missing, and I don't have to burn so many stinky citronella candles or any inside of my garage while we have folks over. This has been really useful for us, and we've been using the garage more for dirty crafts instead of the shop, which helps keep that cleaner. I'd buy again. It's so convenient and I love not being swarmed with bugs the instant that I walk out the door or just walk to the shop to grab something or do some work.

I requested this garage screen door for review. I'm using this garage screen door on my garage studio to help keep the bugs out during the day and night. This screen is a great addition to my studio space. The screen keeps the bugs out and cuts down on the wind that flows through the space. The screen still allows for plenty of air circulation on the hotter days. I also like that during daylight hours, the screen cuts down on the ability of people driving down the road to look into my studio space. I can still see out very well during the day. I installed the screen myself, but it would have been easier with a second person helping. The screen is well-made. The material appears thick enough to hold up for a long time. This is my first garage screen, so I can't compare it to others. It does have a way to exit by way of a vertical magnet strip down the middle of the screen. I do not exit this way, instead I use my side door (which also has a screen). Overall, I'm very pleased with this garage screen door, and the benefits it has added to my studio space.

This garage magnetic mesh screen doorway is fairly easy to install. Just follow the included instructions. All the installation bits needed are included. Depending on the size you choose and the actual size of your intended garage doorway, the fitting of the screen could require some positioning adjustments. So far, I have not needed to make any such adjustments, but I doubt it can be adjusted to fit a doorway that is bigger than the screen. But maybe I'm wrong about that, so always consult the product information, the installation instructions, or consult the screen manufacturer with any questions on how to best make any sizing or fitting adjustments. If properly installed and fitted, the screen mesh does prevent bugs from passing through. Even small species of ants can't pass through the screen material. However, bugs so small they are nearly microscopic in size, might be able to. But I'm not certain of that, or where the precise insect size point of passage would exactly be. The magnetized edging does need to be properly aligned and fitted, however, for the panels to be able to fully close together. If they are not, then that could become an access point for insects. But if properly aligned, then the magnet strips should reach and fit just fine for panel closure. There are also belt buckle straps for each panel segment, 3 sets in total that I can find. The mesh material is of a common thickness, and seems to be a little bit more durable than traditional screens for doors. While the screen does also create a sort of visible and physical barrier, it's still just the screen without the solid backing of an actual door. Therefore, critters could potentially still get in if they are explorative enough, and large enough, to try. So this screen can only be expected to consistantly repel bugs. Still a very useful and convenient product. Especially if youre allergic to stings, are trying to hide from mosquitos, or are simply phobic of spiders, etc. In my opinion, well worth the cost, time, and effort to set up. Overall, I like the multi-segmented design. The belt buckle straps are an excellent feature. Especially since this mesh is intended for garage doorways, as people using the garage will certainly have moments when they want the doorway fully open, and the screen out of their way. Most commonly when moving vehicles in or out, for example. 5 out of 5 stars.
