These dishes are absolutely beautiful! I love how they look, and they are so gorgeous. Unfortunately the box was heavy so when I brought it to my house I dropped the box, and one mug was chipped, but that's my own fault!

I am replacing my 10 year old Rachel Ray dishes with these. I happened upon these scrolling through Amazon and feel in love with them. I received them today. We have 1 chipped mug. I do not want to return a whole box for 1 chipped mug but could not find a way to contact this company online. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. They are beautiful dishes and stack really nice. The only reason for 4 stars is the broken mug which I am hoping we can get replaced.

This elegant HaWare 16-Piece stoneware high glaze dinnerware set arrived on time and in perfect condition. There was no doubt that this company is really serious about delivering their wares undamaged. The expert shipment packaging is a testimonial to that opinion. I have seen none better and again, something notable! The next thing that came to my attention and most certainly to yours as well is the weight of each piece. This what stoneware is all about. Pickup up the dinner plate and you will be almost startled by the heft. But still, with all of that accounted for, there is an elegance to this beautiful stoneware. A good part of that is the high ripple glaze finish that picks up light and produces spots of highlight. The next thing I wanted to find out was....is it stackable. Indeed it is. In fact stack ability for this stoneware goes a bit further than just plates upon plates. I was curious as to whether I could set one of those man sized 18oz. coffee cups inside one of the bowls. Again I was very pleased as there was just the right amount of room for the cup even with its large handle. These cups remind an old timer of the Diners on the main highways back in the day....don't ask me when that was. These are the size that I like. I order sets with coffee cups and get everything from demitasse sized cups, espresso cups, to just a scant more than an 8oz variety. These are what I would call stoneware coffee mugs. They will hold the ''Jo'' because they are a sizable 18oz. That ripple glaze is subtle...you can feel it but cannot see it looking straight down on the plates. Tip them just a little and it is very pronounced and gives a liquid, or almost transparent look to each. This set is a keeper for me. Just to be on the safe side I am putting two more lag bolts into my cupboard here in this apartment. This set is heavy so be sure the support of your cupboard is up to supporting the added weight of this fine set of dinnerware. This set is what real stoneware is all about. I have no doubt that the makers have pulled from the kiln a set that is worthy of the finest kitchen. The description states that it is chip resistant but even though that is a nice promise, that does not mean to treat it carelessly. It is just too nice to abuse. I am giving it a full FIVE STARS for quality, looks, and the overall value portion of that rating cannot exclude those fabulous coffee cups or mugs as I like to call them. I may call them mugs but let me point out that they are a bit more refined. A thinner rim and overall lighter in weight. Really a good thing since they will be filled with a full eighteen ounces of coffee. In my opinion you should be well satisfied with your purchase of this HaWare 16 piece four place setting of dinnerware.

I love collecting dinnerware and blue happens to be my favorite color in dinnerware collections. I knew I had to get this set once i looked at the beautiful blue color this set has. It is stoneware so keep in mind it will be on the heavier side. I love the glossy look that it holds and the lovely color effect it has on each one of the plates, bowls, cups overall. It’s a good set and seems quite sturdy ! I noticed the material allows me to clean the dishes easily without leaving much stains or residues on top of the dishes ! I just wish they are a bit lighter but still I like the set and my favorite are the cups since they are somewhat lighter and are wider so they hold more beverages as needed.

My husband and I are often hard to please with most things kitchen/dining. We both have a heavy restaurant background (him back of the house, with me front of the house) and that makes us overly critical…. But we can agree that this is a pretty good set. They have a nice weight to them, the appearance is modern but won’t go out of style, and they stack. A big con in my opinion— the sharp angles make it so you have to make sure they’re clean in the edges. This is the type of thing that’s “take care of them and they will last.” I LOVE the coffee mugs. I wish the handle was a bit bigger so all my fingers could fit, but it’s big enough that it’s not awkward to hold. The weight of them makes for that comfortable warm mugs feel.
