    • Great base, but has limitations
The piece that plugs into the quest is way too tight of a fit and takes either hurting yourself or something to grip like jewelry pliers to get it out, so you can't charge normally. Would have loved it was slightly less flush with the unit to make it easier to grab. Also, it does not work with any aftermarket straps that add any more weight to the back of the unit, because the weight distribution is a balance with the headset, you would need a surface to elevate the back of the strap. Sadly, I have a battery strap which is too heavy and requires being plugged into the unit, so I have to either use it without the batteries or just use the unit as a stand, as taking the piece out of the unit repeatedly is likely to damage it. It does not work with any controller grips that don't have an opening near the battery spot. There's two metal dots that need direct contact with the base to charge. Lastly, the little black tape in the battery compartment has poor adhesive and may slip. Thankfully, once you have everything in it doesn't matter, but just something to be aware of so it doesn't get lost. Sadly the charging base doesn't work for me at all because of my accessories. I forgot to return before deadline, but it is a good product for anyone using the base quest 2, so I'm going to find something to give it a new home. ... show more

Love the charging set had it for a year and the magnet came off the controller piece just super glue it back in and it'll work love the little piece that stays in the vr and just magnetically connects to charger when finished playing

Loving not having to change batteries all the time. And the fact that the headset can be charged on the same dock is pretty awesome too. I play workout games daily so I was going through a lot of batteries plus my living room always looked cluttered. I actually LOVE the light feature on the front. Honestly there’s nothing we’ve found that we dislike with this VR charging station. We’ve had it for a couple weeks now and it does everything it’s supposed too, and looks good while doing it. This charging station is half the price of the meta version, works well, charges quickly, and the meta does not have the LEDs. It was very easy to set up and use. The only thing I’d say is the magnetic controller battery covers that come with this, don’t fit perfectly so they don’t slide right on you have to kind of finagle it but once on, they stay on and there is little to no difference between them and the original ones. I’d say 100% buy this, if you’ve been on the fence, we love it. ... show more
