I purchased this for my rental unit as the rental does not have a dishwasher. The size of this is great for up to two people. You can hook it up to you your sink (you will need to get an adapter) or you can pour the water into the top (it comes with a pitcher). The overall size sits next to my sink and under the cabinets, but it was very close fit! The washer is actually quiet and cleans the dishes well. This little thing is a miracle and a total time saver. My old dishwasher broke down and I had to get a temporary replacement. But so far, this thing has been so useful. It's it cleans really, really well, very strong. And yes, I know. It's a little smaller, so it can't hold absolutely everything like big pots and big pans, but that's okay. You can soak those and wash those by hand while other things like small plates and bowls and other utensils can go straight in that dishwasher. I've used this now over 20 times in the last 3 days, pushing it to its limits. It has performed fantastic. I am very happy. While it doesn't hold a great amount of dishes, it holds enough for the wife and I for breakfast and lunch. we had a cocktail party and ran it for about 20 hours straight. no problems at all. It isn't very loud at all and dishes are sparkling! Silverware also fits just fine...there are several different sized slots plus the little top can come off and just fill the basket.
