16 months ago, my wife was 8 months pregnant and we had a tiny NYC apartment with no dishwasher, a tiny sink with no sprayer, and a total of about 4 square feet of counter space. I realized doing dishes by hand in this tiny kitchen with no room left over to cook food etc. was not going to work when our baby comes along, so I did a ton of research and ended up buying this. We've been using this thing easily 2-3 times per day on average for 16 months (you probably won't need to do that many cycles, the machine is actually pretty roomy! we are just very inefficient in how we use bottles / pumps / pots & pans / dishes / etc). Never had an issue with it that wasn't user error (one time I thought it sprung a leak - turns out I was just spilling water on top of it and it was dripping down below). It does a great job (though when washing bottles with it - i.e. narrow opening and wide inside - you need to learn to avoid putting them in the few spots which will not get a direct jet of water inside them. It is quick (almost always use the quick mode - 30 minutes, does great). Because I'm obsessive, I do tend to rinse stuff pretty well before putting it in, but the times we've not rinsed it does a great job anyway - though for that I'd recommend using Strong mode, which just gives everything more time to be hit by a direct jet of water to dislodge stuck on food. We didn't have ANY space in our kitchen to put this (it wouldn't even fit on our counter), so we got a rolling kitchen cart and stuck it in our living room just by the kitchen and set the washer on top, with the discharge hose going into a 2.5 gallon water jug beneath it which we just empty in the sink every cycle. We fill the reservoir with another water jug instead of connecting to our water directly, since it's too far away. It sounds like a hassle, but compared to doing the dishes while the baby is crying, it's a huge upgrade. Other than the filling / dumping ritual, it's dead-simple to use - arrange your dishes, pour some detergent, and press go. We do use the salt compartment thingy for hard water, although we don't really have hard water so I doubt it's actually doing much for us. The machine does NOT have a rinse aid compartment or anything like that, so instead we hang a "plink Lemon Solid Dishwasher Cleaner" inside - again, not sure if it makes a difference, but we do it anyway. I clean the filter maybe every month or two - mostly amounts to cleaning off a little waxy residue from fats & oils etc. Have never done anything else to clean it out or any other maintenance - doesn't seem to need much attention. At this point, even though it's only been 16 months, we've probably put like 5 years of use on this thing and no problems - if it broke today, I'd panic about doing the dishes for a few days, then buy another one and not even subtract a star.

I've had the R09 for almost a year. I love, love, love it! I'm seriously like, where's this been all my life. I live alone and run it maybe 2-3 times a week. It fits soo much in there. Plates, pasta bowls, little bowls, bigger bowls, tons of silverware, a few glasses, it's just amazing. I put the salt in the dispenser last year and it's still not empty. Everything comes out sanitized and beyond clean. It takes 1.3 gallons of water or 5 liters. It comes with a container to fill it with water, but I use a liter container that I already use almost daily to add water to my ice/coffee makers etc., plus my container is less bulky than theirs. I fill it 5 times, easy peasy. It sits on my counter next to my microwave and sink. I just place the hose in the sink (has a suction cup to keep it from moving) and that's it. It's actually running right now. It's quiet, looks nice, and did I mention it's amazing and I love it? This is perfect for a single person or even a couple. What I also noticed is a full size dishwasher fits a ton of dishes, like probably close to most of the dishes in a house, so to be efficient, I'd think you have to dirty a ton of dishes before you run it, days and days for a family (?) with all those crusty dishes sitting in the box. With the HAVA, it fits numerous shapes and sizes of plates, bowls, tons of silverware, etc., it's like what a single person or couple would dirty in a couple of days. So, when the sink gets full, I just load it up, nothing sitting in there for days. It's just really cool. I know I sound like I need a life here, but I'm telling you this thing is the bomb. A few more notes, you don't use a rinse aid, ever, that's what the salt is for, it never, ever leaked. Just make sure the hose clamp is tight and you'll have no issues. I also only use the dishwasher powder that rhymes with Pascade no pods, etc. The pods are made for large units, not compact ones. It also has many different cycles to choose from. I stick with the basics -normal wash, dry, and hit start. It's great.

Efficient way of getting dishes done. i went to paper plates years ago to save time and energy, but it wasn't ideal. Having this space saving washer motivates me to "get 'er done". It does a good job, the quick cycle gets them clean in minutes, and I can skip the drying cycle if I so choose. It does silverware, which is my least favorite thing to do. The water softener feature deals with our hard water, we use water softener pellets (very cheap). Yes, I wish it could do the big pots, but then, it would not fit in my apartment.

So I wasn’t sold on getting a countertop dishwasher, I’ve been washing dishes by hand my whole life (I’m 45). But my husband said it was basically killing his soul and I finally relented. We initially had ordered the best selling dishwasher on here whose brand rhymes with Comfy. Sure, it holds more than this one, but it was also HUGE in our small kitchen. Then it proceeded to leak water out the bottom with every wash and we promptly sent it back. By contrast, this dishwasher has been the appliance I never knew I needed! I thought our baby bottle washing days were behind us, but now my preschooler just wants bigger water bottles with more complicated straws and spouts. Now I happily load all of dishes I hate washing (looking at you, air fryer pans), add some water in the tank, toss in a dishwasher tablet, press and few buttons and get on with my life. It’s very intuitive to use, I still haven’t read the manual and things have been going just fine. The ECO cycle cleans well, the dryer actually dries and I don’t have to connect hoses to my kitchen faucet. Absolutely no leaking, it’s quieter than I expected and very well built. The only thing I would change is moving the water tank opening closer to the front of the machine. The dishwasher’s top is pretty close to the bottom of my kitchen cabinets and I have to keep it right at the edge of my countertop to be able to reach the opening. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice. Overall, we definitely got our money’s worth! We run it several times a day and it’s been well worth the cost to not have to spend my evenings at the sink.

I just love this dishwasher! Sure it is smaller. It does a fantastic job on getting the dishes clean. Due to our current plumbing situation I have it on a cart in the bathroom. I love the easy set up. I also love the fact that I can pour water into it and not have to hook it up to a faucet . I bought it for our RV. I have severe arthritis in my hands so this machine is a great help. It is pretty quiet as described. The dishes come our sparkling. I bought this one for the water softener feature because be have very hard water. It also helped that it was on sale at Amazon!

This little thing is a miracle and a total time saver. My old dishwasher broke down and I had to get a temporary replacement. But so far, this thing has been so useful. It's it cleans really, really well, very strong. And yes, I know. It's a little smaller, so it can't hold absolutely everything like big pots and big pans, but that's okay. You can soak those and wash those by hand while other things like small plates and bowls and other utensils can go straight in that dishwasher. Saving you all that time from scrubbing while you can tackle the big boys! Strongly recommend for those who live in apartments and condos.

Very small, however tall enough that dishes fit. Honestly, it is so small that the task of loading and unloading the dishwasher doesn’t seem like a daunting task and it’s easier to stay on top of loading just a few things and running a small load as you go. It works great and was easy to assemble.

It was nice while it lasted. It worked a little less than a year. I did try to get warrenty service. I was sent a part to fix it but a special tool was needed which is not depicted in the video. I did install the new part but it didn't fix the issue. When it worked, it cleaned well and I used it daily.
