This Hamilton Beach (HBDW1922) by Curtis replaces a RCA (RDW1809-B-WHITE) by Curtis that I had for a number of years. The two washers are almost alike--this is important to note. The Hamilton Beach water hoses are too short (just 60 inches long). They barely reach and because they are short the drainage outlet one doesn't connect properly and leaks. Fortunately I was able to switch them with the RCA water hoses which are ALMOST A FOOT LONGER. Once that was done, the machine worked well. ... show more

First unit I got I couldn't figure out but then realized later it was probably my hookup vs actual product problem... 2nd unit worked fantastically, TY TO AMAZON AND SUPPLIER for being so accommodating and helpful getting this set up for me! This thing is AMAZING, just like a regular dishwasher. No regrets on purchasing, super impressed with performance. Also this WILL NOT WORK with spray faucet or bathroom faucet or ANY extension hoses. If you do not have regular faucet or enough hose length... Find a way to run it directly from garden hose hookup. Adapter at home Depot is female garden hose -> 54/64 male. I spent weeks trying absolutely everything, it all has to be a direct hookup. ... show more

I have had to buy several different countertop dishwashers over the last several years, non of them seem to last more than a year or two so make sure you buy the 3 year extended warranty, trust me you will need it, But this washer is the worst at cleaning that I have ever seen, Hardly anything gets clean the 1st cycle or 2nd cycle.. forget about your silverware getting clean, I have moved around dishes to different areas of washer to no avail. I did purchase the extended warranty so I am looking foreword to this dishwasher breaking down so I can get rid of it. Not sure which one I will try next, ... show more

I had the SPT stainless version of this for the last 7 years, until the pump finally broke down late 2021. I tried finding the same model again, but couldnt find the SPT model. I saw this similar looking machine, and after looking at the pictures, it turned out to be the same model under a different brand. I bought it and it worked perfectly, cleaning up plates spick and span as long as you know how to load it properly. Even if you don't load it very well, somehow it cleans everything up nicely still. There is only one spray arm that sprays water from underneath, therefore, you want the occasional gap for water to reach the back of the bowls and pots. However, I often load it chock full of bowls, or with large pots and it still does quite well somehow. I think the Finish dish detergent tablets also help, but the quality of this dishwasher is still great. A normal load takes 1 hour and 50 minutes, with preset times it needs to take in and eject water. I write down the display time on the side of the machine so I can know when I can remove the adapter from the faucet if I need to use it quickly. There is one catch though and it still has not been fixed from the SPT version. If there is no water pressure when the dishwasher cycle needs water (e.g. adapter removed from faucet), it will display an error code that cannot be cleared and continued after turning the water back on. It can only be stopped by clicking the power button and restarting the ENTIRE cycle. As long as you can remember to turn on the water again, this is not a big issue. ... show more

First off, let me say, the item in the pictures on Amazon is NOT the item you're going to receive. This model has a screen, and the front is laid out entirely differently and honestly looks a lot nicer, though I think it is the same size listed. I was so confused because all of the pictures I saw in reviews did now match the stock photos, so I didn't know what model I was actually going to get, so I'm telling you now, it's the model RDW3208-B, not RDW3208. That being said, after reading a LOT of reviews for counter top dishwashers, from a lot of different sources, I found this machine. I'm on a budget, so the low price was appealing. One of my biggest concerns was leaks, but from what I read in reviews, every one of these counter top dishwashers seems to come with that risk, so I figured that was a risk I'd have to take with any of these machines. So after some research, I was skeptical, yet hopeful that this was the dishwasher for me. At the time of writing, I think I was correct. To start I was very surprised about how easy and straightforward it was to setup. Just screw the cap/screen off my faucet, attach the quick connect adapter with a wrench, and attach the quick connect hose. That's it. Super easy. The manual explains all the various functions very well, and you get a lot of different wash options, a lot more than it looks like from the stock photos, so that was nice. So far I've used it about 20 or so times, testing various settings and detergents, and came to the conclusion that regular powder plus rinse aid seems to be the most effective, I'm using Cascade complete powder, and finish jet dry rinse aid, and it's very effective, it was able to get some very tough dishes spotless. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, I didn't think with our small kitchen we would ever have a dishwasher, but here it is, and it's made me and the wife's lives so much easier, and I think it was worth every single penny. ... show more
