These clippers are so quiet that I didn't think they were actually cutting at first, and then... voila! Hair everywhere! I've had two Wahls and one other, and these are by far the best clippers I've ever had. Shaving my head was a lot faster than normal because of how well they cut. And so quiet that I could shave my head without disturbing the others. It also didn't get super hot (the blade) while shaving. The adjusting leaver is really nice, too, I was able to get a better blend than my last Wahls (which were like... $45 at the time of purchase, but $60+ now). The colour coordinated attachments are very helpful, too. It's easy to clean. Overall, a comfortable experience. Given it's only $20-something dollars, these are great value for one's money. Lastly, they feel very durable. This clipper is very heavy but not so havy that it's uncomfortable to use. My one complaint is the charging cord: it's USB, not a wall plug. Fortunately, these came charged at 100% (and are still at 100%, holy hell nice charge retention), but I gotta get a USB to outlet converter. I really hope they stay an affordable, yet high quality brand.

***Update 5/22/2024 The seller did promptly ship me a replacement. The clippers are working well although I have yet to test the waterproof rating as I am hesitant due to the first experience. Having the convenience of cordless is great and the battery life is good. But I still would not trust these clippers as being fully waterproof. I have adjusted my review to 4 stars to reflect the great customer service although it would be much better if there was a way to reach the seller directly to resolve issues. It is inconvenient and in my opinion unfair to the seller to have to post a 1 star review and then hope the seller reaches out to you to follow up. At any rate, it all eventually worked out and I am pleased with the product and the customer service provided by the seller. ***Update 4/8/2024 The seller has reached out to me to resolve the issue. I will revise and update my review pending the outcome. Original Review: I purchased these clippers because of the cordless use and especially the IPX7 Waterproof Rating. The kit comes with a charging cord, all the various length attachments and a storage bag. During the first few uses, the clippers worked well and the battery life was very good. After using them I rinsed them under the faucet. This is when the problems began. The LCD screen began flashing erratically and the motor began starting and stopping intermittently. After the battery drained, the hair clippers completely died. It would no longer turn on or charge. I like the clippers and they perform well but in my experience, they do not hold up to the IPX7 Waterproof Rating. If you need waterproof clippers, I would look elsewhere. I've tried contacting Amazon to get in touch with the seller but because the item is outside the return window I'm unable to speak with anyone. The after sale support for this item is non-existent. Buyer beware.

I had a Wahl Lithium Ion Pro for at least 6 years. Around the second year or so the battery required a full charge before each use or it can stop midway through a cut. Then the power button started acting up the same year. I had to open it to re-solder the wires. Replacing the battery seemed easy but there seemed to be different versions of the 18650 battery. I finally decided to retire the Wahl and get a new hair clipper. The main reason I chose Hatteker was for the waterproof feature. Cleaning up the Wahl after a cut was time consuming. I was surprised at how well it cut without snagging my hair and how low the noise was. Even when the Wahl was brand new, there were some occasional snagging and it was considerably louder than the Hatteker. Although pulling the taper lever back seem to bring down the motor speed and cause some slight snagging it was never as bad as the Wahl (I rarely use the lever any way). Good price for all the additional features but I will definitely update whenever it requires me to perform some "maintenance". Another plus: The old guide combs from Wahl Lithium Ion Pro also fits the Hatteker. 7/30/2022 - I've been using this clipper for a year every 2 to 3 weeks and it's still working perfectly. The battery life is going strong and I've noticed no drop in performance. I stopped using the Wahl guide combs as I found out they were too tight and was the reason that the clipper can snag some hair when the taper lever was pulled back. After using the original guide combs the trims feel smoother. I've been using them in the shower and cleaning them while showering and noticed no rust. But I make sure to oil and let it dry before putting it away. 03/27/2024 - I still use these every 3 weeks or so and it still works perfectly. I think I only charged it 3 times a year never letting the battery drop below 60%. I did drop these once from sink height and there's a small chip on the body but no damage to the head. The gold colored plating seems to be coming off slightly. I feel that even if it dies tomorrow I already got my money's worth. 06/04/2024 - Everything still works great but I recently decided to open it up to clean it thoroughly. One of the threading for the screws on the body was slightly stripped and is a bit loose now. You don't really need to open the body portion anyway so avoid it if you can. No issue with the screws for the blade part of the clippers. 12/05/2025 - Still cuts my hair with no snags but when my hair grows out it comes out a bit fuzzy. Could be my hair or the clipper is losing it's sharpness. It was getting loud when operating so I opened up the blade section and saw that one of the metal springs came off the plastic guide (could have came off when I opened it) put it back together and it's less loud when using again. 12/07/2025 - I bought another one since I noticed there was condensation on the battery indicator window. I opened it once more to let it dry out but the one of the screws no longer stays in. Condensation is probably from the loose screws. Don't open the main body if you don't need to! New one is definitely quieter and has a matte feel to it.

I bought these trimmers to cut my hair and do my manscaping with In the shower. Let me tell you this Is the best trimmer I’ve ever used. I just used them to trim my dogs paw pads too. Worked amazing. I tested them on the lowest setting with no guard on my finger. Pressing really hard I couldn’t get it to cut me. My Wahl trimmer will in fact cut me, that’s why I never used it on my Dog. These came fully charged, I’ve ran them at least 20 minutes already and the nice lighted digital display still says 100% I normally don’t write reviews but this time I did it for an exceptional product. They are sturdy and well made with tons of attachments too. And oil & a comb. They are made to get wet, but I’ll keep them dry, I’ve found things that are made to get wet will not last as long as when you keep them dry.

I've had the clippers for 1 1/2 years now. Work just as good as the day I got them. I've only charged them 4 or 5 times that whole time and never because they were dead. They last forever! I cut my hair and beard every 2-3 weeks in the shower to give you an idea of usage. Lightweight, quiet and all the attachments fit great and work flawlessly. Also, there is no sign of rust or wear anywhere on them. Get yourself some clipper oil and your good to go!
