After printing and reprinting on my Ender 3 Pro, using so many slightly cheaper brands, this is now my only brand for PLA. Pros: *no layer "skipping" (excellent adhesion layer-to-layer): I have this issue consistently with other brands on large prints *almost no stringing/blobs Cons: *more of a note - the spools are slightly wider than other brands. *It's possible this clogged the nozzle more than others - I was not very diligent about replacing the nozzle and I had one pretty catastrophic clog that made a huge mess. This stuff is great, consistent, and well packaged. From ABS to PETG to PLA it's all good. I have been printing for about two years now, and Hatchbox is my go-to filament. Color, diameter, texture is always consistent even when splitting old spools with new ones. Packaging is great, out of the 70+ rolls that I have purchased, not a single one had a broken vacuum seal. great product. never had any issues though dozens of prints. i use red and black colors. spool comes neatly wrapped. i recommend this brand. currently trying a slightly cheaper brand and i find that the spool is a bit more messy. i like hatchbox and will buy again

Incredibly consistent results. I have used this filament in several different printers including a Qidi X-Plus, Bibo, Monoprice Mini Select V2, Dremel DigiLab, and Kingroon KP3S. It consistently performs, and it is my go to brand for trying new prints or printers. The colors always stay true, and the sheen is also consistent. I have used both matte and glossy. Both printed well. It does require slightly different settings depending on room temperature and time of year. Each machine I have used it on also requires some slightly different tweeks to get the very best quality. BUT... and this is a BIG ONE... Hatchbox is one of the few brands I've found that can create draft quality prints or better without having to make any changes to settings. It's amazing how often I have a print that I can't get to work and the solution is simply "print it with a Hatchbox filament." This stuff is the gold standard. Unless you are doing mass production where every cent of material counts (which if you are, why are you using FDM??,) then just buy this and save yourself the frustration. ... show more

After setting the used Prusa I recently purchased, I loaded a reel of this filament, ran the slicer setting the filament temps to 210/205 which is close to the max Hatchbox recommends and started the print. The first print turned out perfectly as have all the others. I'm very impressed with this material and have already purchased 2 more reels in red and black.
