You have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the assembly instructions but once you get everything laid out, it's pretty simple. So lay everything out like diagram and it's easy peasy. You have to cut the zip ties so they won't stick out from under bed. But I am very satisfied and recommend this product. I bought two and the first assembly took about an hour and half but the second only took 45 to hour. Caught them on flash sale and glad I purchased. Very sturdy, light weight and easily movable.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, the lights definitely don't stick. But that's okay--I meant to replace them with the Phillips version anyway. Otherwise, this bed is perfect. Cheap, super sturdy, and generally stylish for the price.

My son needed frame for his mattress because the box spring was preventing air circulation and was unsightly. He, at 16, is really into LED lights etc. This bed looked like it fit the bill. He was so excited that when I told him what was in the box, he ended up setting it up at midnight that night, while the rest of us were sleeping. So, a 16 year boy who is not particularly handy, was able to set the bed up quietly at midnight on his own. Two thumbs up! The lights look cool and aren't so bright that they interfere with sleep, unlike some of his other decor. He's got his devices plugged into the side, and has been sleeping well since. We're pleased with the purchase and the price.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love the idea of this bed frame. It truly does give the appearance that it's floating. Lighting has multiple options and adds to the coolness factor. Negatives however are quite important. Difficult to put together and ended up with pieces that simply couldn't be made to fit. Sits VERY VERY low to the ground and when i added the matress, previously over the moon with when laid atop my box springs waiting for this bed to arrive, was now uncomfortable and the structure support and overall make caused the matress to take on a high center lie edge angle making you feel as though you could roll off the lower angled sides instead if the only level secure feeling spot being directly in the center of the mattress. Perhaps I didn't do a good job with the assembly, however. It feels cheap, un sturdy and uneven. Lighting strip was a pain the rear to pit on and must be zip tied or similar to keep it attached due to adhesive losing its stickiness quite quickly. Overall made an otherwise comfortable and sturdy 23" matress feel cheap and insecure. Wouldn't really recommend unless i found the cause of the issues were my fault. I would have been happier with particle board Japanese platform style bed and could probably find one close to the price of this frame. Like I said in the beginning. Looks very good though.

My son absolutely loves this bed. It's very easy to assemble n very durable. Great price. Love the lights that go under. We did zip tie the lights to the frame so we never had to worry about the lights falling off. Not saying they would we just rather be prepared then have to ever fix them.

It looks great, and it's been very sturdy. As others have said, the lights fall off. You just gotta get replacement adhesive stuff to make it stay which costs a few extra bucks. The lights can go on a timer you can control from an app, and I love being able to have the lights go on automatically when it gets darker out then turn it off from my phone in bed. The app isn't great but it works well enough. There's a few seconds between opening the app and being and to turn the lights on and off. I like how short the bed is. Not all under-bed storage containers will fit but some do. The floating look with the lights looks really cool.
