  • Would recommend
My plants seem to love it very much. It helps with drainage and also keeps the soil in a loose and porous state. It's definitely worth recommending.

  • Basically sand but does the job
This does prevent soil from completely compacting, does all the things it’s suppose to EXCEPT add aeration. There’s barely any bigger chunks, the rest is like sand. So it’s good to use for cuttings & cactus soil & maybe even gardens but not so much for houseplants.

  • Great mix in for all soil types
Love having this on hand to add to any soil, indoor potting or succulent mix. Can be dusty but could spray a bit of water first.

  • Perfect for homemade succulent soil mix
I was frustrated by the in-store options at the big box stores -- they seem to only carry Miracle Grow perlite which is imbued with nasty and unecessary chemicals. This was the perfect affordable and natural solution. Happily made my own succulent soil mix by adding this to regular potting soil and rough sand and my plants are happy. ... show more

  • Awesome
This is good perlite. I put a fiddle leaf fig, 3 rubber trees, and a pothos in this as a medium for propagation. I’ve got to say it is much better than water alone. I recommend this for a medium or an additive to soil for drainage. Great product for me.
