This is a great set up. Finally have room in my room and can accommodate guests. It took a while to put it together, but we did it and it looks great. Very comfortable. The only thing is the lights on top. That was a weird set up. We ended up getting an extension cord with an on/off switch, ran it behind the wall unit and plugged it in, otherwise there is no way to turn the lights out. Had some issues with putting unit together, no way to contact suppler for held- no phone number or email to contact for help. Also would be nice if the supplier sent some touch up paint with unit.

It took my wife and I about 8 hours, over 2 days total to assemble. It was missing 2 bolts and weirdly had extra other ones. I’m in construction so I’m very familiar with how things are put together. It definitely tested our marriage. It was very difficult to get some of the bolts into the corresponding connection. All the exposed fasteners are shown in the photos but I guess we overlooked that. They are unsightly. I ended up buying white circle stickers to cover them. Seems like a simple thing the manufacturer could have added. It comes with lights that are ridiculously hard to put together with no instructions and no other wiring or switch to make them work. So they do nothing. Definitely just a gimmick they threw in. We used a 12 inch tall mattress and it fit but we had to add a latch to keep it closed. I guess it’s a cheaper option so you definitely get what you pay for. I never write reviews but I feel like people should be aware. A lesser experienced person with an iffy marriage should NOT purchase this. The end result is that it does what it is supposed to but I would never intentionally go through that ever again. Buyer beware. ... show more

There is no support for the center of this bed. It sags, and after a very short time the wood is already starting to separate and come apart. I had to buy a metal frame just to keep it from breaking with less then 10 sleeps on it. Also, all of the bolts are exposed. I guess I should have looked at the pictures closer because you can see that, but it is way more obvious in person. Much better off spending the money on a better product. ... show more
