I put the bed together by myself in a matter of a couple hours. The bed is sturdy and is just what I wanted. I was worried when I read reviews saying assembly was difficult. The only thing I recommend is using a power drill instead of a hand drill on the boards for the mattress and the 2 back pieces that stabilize rails. Mine did not have predrilled holes so without a power drill it would have been impossible. ... show more

Even though this was a hot mess to put together, it was literally beautiful once we got it done so I gave it five stars even though I’d like to give it one for the assembly process. Everything was packed nice and neat so there were no scratches or chunks or gouges in anything. We bought the full size bed, which is probably why it was harder to assemble because it is bigger. Pleasantly surprised with this bed. The assembly is time consuming, but instructions/diagrams were pretty good. Could’ve been a little more thorough, but I’ve definitively seen worse. We had all the parts we needed and nothing was damaged. My only complaint is that I wish it had a couple of support legs in the middle to make it more sturdy. ... show more

Very sturdy daybed. I was able to put it together by myself in about 3 hours. I wanted the look of a “couch” and not a bed for my office and this daybed is perfect for overnight guests.

Pleasantly surprised by the bed. Did not have any issues with predrilled holes missing, most parts were labeled, but were easily able to figure out the proper pieces. We did add a center support under the bed. We were worried that over time it would put stress on the 2 screws holding the center rail. This is a very nice bed. If you don’t have patience this is not the bed for you. You do have to have a lot of patience putting it together because you have to build the bed piece by piece (see my pictures) so it takes a lot of time & patience but once together it is a very nice bed. I did buy extra support legs to go under the middle of the bed just to be on the safe side. ... show more
