Description

One of the most popular glass inventions from Hario is their glass coffee dripper, the Hario V60. The Hario V60 is a cone pour-over brewer which has been specially designed to produce an evenly brewed cup of coffee. The V60 is one of the most popular manual coffee brewers on the market today. Why the cone shape? The cone shaped paper filter adds depth to the coffee layer, so that the water flows to the center, extending the amount of time it is in contact with the ground coffee. The brand recognized by Coffee Geeks worldwide.

    • The plastic V60 the best option for efficiency in your brewing routine and overall functionality
Color: White Size: 02 Style: Resin
I've recently added the plastic HARIO V60 02 dripper to my coffee brewing arsenal, and it has quickly become a cornerstone of my morning ritual. As an avid coffee enthusiast, finding the right tools that combine functionality with efficiency is crucial, and this dripper does just that. One of the standout features of this model, which is crucial for any coffee brewer, is its heat retention capabilities. Unlike other materials, the plastic construction of this V60 not only makes it easy to handle and preheat but also retains heat exceptionally well throughout the brewing process. This consistent temperature maintenance is key to extracting the fullest flavor from your coffee grounds, ensuring a rich and robust cup every time. Additionally, this is a rather thick plastic. It is exceptionally smooth and does not look or feel as cheap as it is. The dripper's design is also worth noting. It accommodates 1-4 cups, making it perfect for personal use or when entertaining guests. The transparent plastic not only looks sleek but allows for visibility of the coffee as it brews, enhancing the overall experience and making it easier to achieve the perfect brew by observing the drip rate and color. This V60 brewer combines aesthetic appeal with functional excellence. Its superior heat retention, especially noteworthy in the plastic version, makes it a superior choice for those seeking to refine their pour-over technique and enjoy a consistently great cup of coffee. Whether you’re a seasoned barista or a home brew enthusiast, this dripper is an excellent investment. ... show more

    • A classic for a reason
Color: Clear Size: 02 Style: Resin
Dishwashable plastic resin, good heat retention, great size for 1-2 people, easy to find recipes online and use, strong and durable, not the most forgiving but makes fantastic coffee when [mostly] done right, easy to bring around though there are more portable options. And for the price? Simply unmatched. It’s a classic for a reason, nothing more to be said. ... show more

    • You could save if you buy starter pack.

The media could not be loaded. If you buy starter pack Hario v60 (it’s with filters and jar) and the price is almost the same. I like material (Porcelain) coffee just tastes better in it, especially if you drink coffee black. Use Hario v60 coffee filters. Why? Because you will get used to speed and time while it’s brewing. Some “same” filters are different with size and brewing time/speed will be different. It’s easy to clean and easy to use. It’s dishwasher safe but really easy to wash in hands. Size its ok to brew 1-4 cups (8oz cup) of coffee. I brew my coffee every morning. I grind coffee beans about 20 grams, then I use 195-200F water temperature. First i water the filter alone so it does not have paper taste, then i drop coffee into wet filter, and finish up with 195-200F water. I like my coffee smooth. I drink black coffee so i do taste coffee (no creams no sugar) so this process makes it better. If you drink black coffee like me i suggest staying away from dark roasts. However drink few different ones and find your perfect coffee. I love mine, for me it tastes better than from coffee shops and saves me lots of money overtime. ... show more

    • Good product, stupid Amazon

Product itself is fine, but why Amazon would ship these in a soft mailer is beyond me. Ordered two of these, mailer was torn, both product boxes (thin card stock material) were beat up, and one of the items was broken so I returned it for a refund. Just fair warning if you order one and have some kind of time constraint - better to give yourself time to make sure the product arrives intact. Again, product is great, and hopefully yours gets shipped in more sensible packaging... ... show more

    • Best dripper out there by far!
Color: copper Size: 02 Style: Metal
I chose to purchase the Hario V60 to elevate my coffee brewing experience. The dripper's reputation for producing clean, flavorful coffee, combined with its design appealed to both my aesthetic preferences and desire for quality. What you'll need: Hario V60 Copper Dripper (VDPR-02-CP) Coffee beans Grinder Filter (preferably Hario V60 paper filters) Kettle Scale Timer Mug or carafe Preparation: Place the Hario V60 Copper Dripper on top of a mug or carafe. Fold the filter along the seam and place it inside the dripper. Rinse the filter with hot water to remove any paper flavor and preheat the dripper and your vessel. Discard the rinse water. Grind your coffee beans: Weigh out your coffee beans according to your desired coffee-to-water ratio. A common ratio is 1:15 (1 part coffee to 15 parts water). Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency, similar to sea salt. Add coffee grounds: Place the ground coffee into the rinsed filter. Gently shake the dripper to level the coffee bed. Bloom the coffee: Start your timer and pour just enough hot water (about twice the weight of the coffee grounds, e.g., if you used 20g of coffee, pour 40g of water) to saturate the grounds evenly. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are wetted. Allow the coffee to bloom for about 30 seconds. This helps release carbon dioxide and prepares the grounds for optimal extraction. Pour in stages: After the bloom, slowly pour hot water (about 95-98°C or 200-205°F) in a circular motion over the coffee grounds. Begin pouring from the center and spiral outward, keeping the water level consistent but never completely covering the coffee grounds. Aim to finish pouring within 2-3 minutes, depending on the amount of coffee you're brewing. Finish brewing: Once you've poured all the water, let the coffee drip through the filter until it's finished dripping (the total brew time should be around 3-4 minutes). Serve and enjoy: Carefully lift the dripper off the mug or carafe and discard the used filter and coffee grounds. Pour the brewed coffee into your favorite mug and enjoy your freshly brewed cup! ... show more
