I was impressed with the quality and packing. The cover came well packed and even had extra parts of the most easily damaged parts. Fit perfectly on my 2026 tacoma SR5. 5" bed. No tools needed past a knife to open the box. Each of the 3 sections has its own latching device. Closest to the cab has a screw knob and the middle and back sections have a latch lever. Would be better if they were metal but the nylon they are made of seem strong enough to last years. Most importantly to me is the high quality rubber gasket that runs along all 4 sides. It also comes with sticky back rubberized stripping for the tailgate. I would recommend this unit to a friend. ... show more

    • Fits 2024 Tacoma Sport Perfectly
I have had this on my 2024 Tacoma Sport now for about 6 months now and I am totally pleased with it. I selected this particular one because of its very reasonable price and that it is a tri-fold. I also selected this model because it attaches to the rails in the bed that come with the truck. I was able to install it with only myself, although having a second helper would have been handy. Installation took less than an hour, including repositioning the top for a perfect alignment with the back window. Reader should note that the Tacoma top of the sides of the bed are slightly wider at the cab as compared to the tailgate area. Internally, the bed top sides are parallel but the outer side is where the flare occurs. Because the top is the same width back to front, you will notice slightly more of the bed side tops showing towards the front. Not to worry; after a while, you won't notice it! With the tri-fold design, you can flip forward the back two panels and there is a place on the most forward panel to anchor those two panels down so they are secure when you are on the road at speed. Each of the three panels are secured to the side wall with an over-the-center lever. This makes it incredibly easy to quickly remove the whole top in just a few minutes. Reinstallation is about as quick as the removal. Once the initial installation is complete, I would recommend checking for leaks before the rainy season. You might need to adjust the supplied foam strip that is applied to the front wall of the truck bed. I am quite pleased with this purchase. ... show more
