This is a very nice hard shell case, about 11 1/2" x 6 1/2", not including the handle, and about 1 3/4" thick, a very convenient carrying size. The webbing handle has a rubberized grip about 4 3/4" in length, nonslip, which makes convenient carrying even easier. The black nylon zipper runs across the front of the case and both ends, and extends about 2" into each side of the back making the top easy to fully open and flip out of the way for access to contents. There are two zipper tabs each with an easy to grasp and hold pull. The zipper operates smoothly with both tabs used in either direction. Inside the case there is a form fitted area in the bottom for storing the Littmann stethoscope. It does not seem to be padded but has a nice textured finish and there is a bit of give to the piece that holds the stethoscope. The top of the case has a stretchable mesh pocket, open at the top, for storing additional items. It measures about 5 1/4" wide x 8 1/4" deep with 2 1/2" from top of pocket to edge of case. The top of the pocket has an elastic band with stretch equal to the mesh. The black oxford cloth type exterior looks durable and I would expect it to offer some resistance to moisture, which is important when carrying to the horse barn. Construction is very good. All seams are straight and even, and stitching is even. The zipper is well stitched and even, and the case itself is symmetrical. There are no raw edges in the interior as they are encased in binding which is well applied with no twists, bumps, or gathers. I feel this to be a very well constructed case for storage of a Littmann stethoscope, easy to carry, and has a mesh bag inside the lid for additional necessities, all at a price point of under $25 which in my opinion is a very good value

I’ve been using this hard shell case which has been perfectly compatible with my Littmann CORE for about a month now, and it has become an essential part of my daily carry. Because digital stethoscopes are such an investment, I wanted something more substantial than a soft bag, and the hard shell feels incredibly rugged. It’s stiff enough to resist pressure when it’s crammed into my backpack along with heavy textbooks and other gear, yet the interior is surprisingly plush and perfectly molded. I got one of these stereoscopes for my son when he got into medical school recently and decided he should have a hard case for it, since he'll be moving around a bit (relocating and traveling with it). This really is a nice Stethoscope case. It is a "soft case" design but built quite well. Quality zipper and netted mesh pocket in the lid for extra storage. The interior is soft and has a form fit but for only one particular scope which is the 3M Littmann. It would have been nice if it were designed to fit others as well as most medical professionals don't only have one scope. And it would also have been nice if the form fit cutout was a bit deeper. Other than that, it's a fairly nice case.

As a paramedic that is constantly traveling, packing and unpacking this is the perfect case for me. It fit my Littman Cardiology IV perfectly. The opposite side has a great pocket for extra earpieces and diaphragms. Normally I would just stuff my stethoscope in my large aid bag, or keep it in a coat pocket. I've lost a couple of diaphragms with this kind of handling, so for me this is perfect to help keep my stethoscope protected. Considering what hard cases cost for phones, drones, game controllers, etc. This is priced on par with others. And when you consider the price of what it is protecting, it's well worth the price. It would also make a great gift. As far as construction, it seems to be well made. It has a zipper that goes around three sides, with two zipper slider pulls so you can make it bidirectional or use both hands for quicker opening. The handle is reinforced and sew into the case well. The case itself seems to be filled with molded foam for shape and to make it sturdy, then it's covered with a nice cloth to protect your stethoscope. I'm super happy with it and am certain it will save my stethoscope from inevitable damage.

This case is a semi-hard case. The description doesn’t tell what kind of synthetic it’s made of. It is factory-fitted for a 3M Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope. It probably fits the stethoscope perfectly, but I don't have one, so I can’t try it. I But I have my uses. Later on that. First, a description of the stethoscope case. It might be made of nylon, but the amazon.com description doesn’t say. It's covered in some kind of black woven synthetic fabric. It’s somewhat stiff, but I can press it in with my fingers. I think the material should be a little thicker to make it a little stiffer. There’s a flexible handle. The plastic case liner is custom molded to carry a specific model if stethoscope, which, as I have stated, I don’t have. Now, why do I have a carrying case for equipment I don't have? This case is easily converted into a case for anything, which is something I need. This stethoscope case can be converted to carry anything that fits in about 10 minutes time with some judicious use of an X-Acto knife around the edges of the liner. Presto, change-o. The X-Acto surgery didn’t destroy the liner. It can be put back in if I unexpectedly find myself owner of a Littmann Digital Stethoscope and need a fitted case for it. Now, for my opinion about value. The price, as I write this in April 2029, is approximately $25. For that kind of money, the case should be stiffer, and made of more premium material. The hinge is a piece of fabric that I don't expect to last very long. I’d give it 4 stars if it was under $12. But since it’s more than twice that, 3 stars.
