Very comfortable
Size: Full Style: 10-inch Pattern Name: Plush-Feel
Very comfortable especially good if you have shoulder or hip issues. I bought it in 2023 and still love it. It does not have a firm edge which some people like for sitting on but that is not an issue for me. It is not squishy soft like pillow topper mattresses.

Want to sleep on a Cloud?
Size: California King Style: 12-inch Pattern Name: Plush-Feel
Review Image by Anna J
I have scoliosis and I am 6 feet tall and this bed is perfect I'm out of pain when I sleep It's long enough and keeps me cool it's big enough for me and my partner and our cat who doesn't enjoy being kicked off the bed! It's also big enough for movie night with our child. It was easy to move up two flights of stairs getting it in here. It's plush is true to the name. Yet it's firm enough to set a drink down on it and it hugs my body like a could. It feels like I'm being hugged and floating at the same time! Well done Amazon Basics!!!! Thank you so much!!!! ... show more

Surprisingly comfortable for the price — a smart pick for a guest room or dorm
Size: Twin Style: 6-inch Pattern Name: Plush-Feel
I set this up in a guest room, and it's held up as a genuinely solid budget mattress. For a 6-inch memory foam option, it strikes a nice balance — soft enough to feel plush without bottoming out or feeling like you're sleeping on a thin pad. What stands out: The memory foam actually contours well. It has that classic slow-sink, pressure-relieving feel without feeling like it's swallowing you — good for side or back sleepers who want some cushion without losing support. Compatible with basically any setup. It works fine on a standard bed frame, a platform bed, or even directly on the floor, which made it flexible for exactly the kind of guest-room/dorm use it's built for. Breathable cover keeps it from sleeping hot. A common complaint with cheaper memory foam is that it traps heat, and this one didn't leave that stuffy feeling overnight. Expanded and settled quickly out of the box. Standard for compressed foam shipping, but it didn't take long to fully expand and lose the initial off-gassing smell that some cheap foam mattresses hang onto for days. Genuinely good value for a twin-size guest or kids' room mattress. It's not trying to compete with a premium mattress, and it doesn't need to — for the price point, it delivers real comfort. One thing to know: at 6 inches, this is a lighter-duty mattress meant more for guest rooms, kids, dorms, or a secondary bed rather than a primary everyday mattress for a full-size adult sleeping on it every night. If you want something more substantial and long-term, Amazon Basics also sells a thicker medium-firm option — but for what this is designed for, it does the job well. For anyone setting up a guest room, dorm, or kid's bed without wanting to spend a lot, this is a comfortable, no-fuss option that punches above its price point. ... show more

Comfortable Budget Mattress — Soft, Supportive, and Good Value for the Price
Size: Twin Style: 10-inch Pattern Name: Plush-Feel
The Amazon Basics 10" Memory Foam Mattress is a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable mattress without paying premium brand prices. It’s especially good for guest rooms, kids’ rooms, or anyone who prefers a softer sleep surface. Right out of the box, the mattress expanded pretty quickly after opening (give it the recommended time before sleeping on it). There was a mild “new foam” smell at first, but it faded within a day or two, which is pretty typical for memory foam mattresses. The feel is definitely on the softer/plush side. If you like that slightly sinking, contouring memory foam feel, this does a good job. It cushions pressure points well, especially for side sleepers. It still has enough support underneath that you don’t feel like you’re completely sinking through the mattress. Temperature-wise, it sleeps fairly neutral for memory foam. It’s not specifically marketed as cooling, but I didn’t find it overly hot compared to older memory foam styles. The cover looks clean and simple, and the white/grey design works well with most bedding setups. Pros: ✔ Very comfortable plush/soft feel ✔ Good pressure relief (great for side sleepers) ✔ Good value for a memory foam mattress ✔ Expanded quickly after opening ✔ Minimal off-gassing smell compared to some foam mattresses Cons: ✖ May be too soft for stomach sleepers or people wanting very firm support ✖ Not specifically a cooling mattress (just average temp control) ✖ Edge support is decent but not super firm Overall: If you want a budget-friendly memory foam mattress that still feels comfortable and supportive, this is a great option. It’s especially good for guest rooms, kids, teens, or anyone who prefers a softer sleep surface without spending a lot. ... show more

Great mattress and affordable!
Size: Queen Style: 12-inch Pattern Name: Plush-Feel
Great mattress. Was nervous about the cheap Amazon brand, but it's actually quite good and I'm glad I got this one. Soft, conforming memory foam. Expanded fine. Quick delivery. I've had firmer and spring style mattresses for years, this is like the actual temper-pedic style memory foam I always wanted just never knew what to look for. Soft-plush I guess is it, all foam, no springs. Very satisfied, helped my back and sleep great on it. Thank you! ... show more

Quality changed
Size: Twin Style: 8-inch Pattern Name: Plush-Feel
I bought one back in March 2025, a twin size and it was so comfortable that I bought two more for my other kids. They were somewhat comfy but not as good quality. Then I bought a queen bed this yr, thinking the other two were duds. But the queen one is the least memory foam feel of them all! So uncomfortable. Why Amazon? Why change the padding? It was so good in March 2025! ... show more

This mattress is super comfy! The memory foam makes it a very soft bed. This is perfect for people who don’t like firm beds and side sleepers. It puffed up pretty quick after removing the outer plastic and became pretty much completely expanded by the next day. I like that the mattress is thick but not too thick and I feel like it’s a great mattress for the price! Highly recommend! ... show more
