We bought this to give us more shade on our deck. It provides ample shade and discovered the shade is waterproof. The entire frame is metal and will dent easy, so be careful when installing. Overall great purchase for a 1 or 2 Sumner season use.

This is awesome! It’s inexpensive and offers nice shade. It looks cool in person. It made it through a hail storm so seems pretty sturdy. It’s light so 2 people can pick it up easily if it isn’t anchored down. Assembly took 3-4 hours but was easy. The shade slides out and back easily. Love this pergola, it looks expensive, was fairly easy to put together (though I recommend 3 people and a tall step stool), and fits our 8 person table under it perfectly! It's sturdier than I expected but I don't think I'd trust it in a big storm.

The media could not be loaded. This pergola is a nice addition to our backyard/pool area! It provides an extra shaded spot for people to hang out. Perfect timing to get it because pool season is just around the corner. It looks sturdy, but time will tell. Assembly time was around 3 hours (2 people job). We recently bought my 4yr and 2yr old a new sandbox but without realizing the entire sandbox get blasted with sun. This canopy is so perfect for blocking out the sun so they can play without the sun in their face. It came in a big box and was super heavy. But once opened it was very easy to set up and install together. With the help of my husband we were able to unpack and assemble this in less than an hour. We did need to tap into his power tools but it made for a very easy install. I love that this is not real wood and made of an aluminum type material that looks a lot like wood but should hold up better in outdoor weather elements. My favorite part about the whole canopy is the retractable roof covering. It’s so easy to slide open the cloth roof when needed and then open it up when we don’t have kids underneath it.
