as a college freshman I was worried about sleeping on a new bed but this made it so comfy I never really had a problem going to sleep on it! I've only been sleeping on it for about 1.5 months but it seems to still be perfectly fine. there's not smell and there wasn't when we opened it. for the price the quality is pretty good, its breathable and so comfortable. I might update this in a couple months/years to say how long it last me

At first I was unsure about this product and I really went back and forth on whether or not to buy it. I bought this to go on a cheap college futon that I have in my apartment at school- and for that- it works great. I have a 4 inch memory foam mattress topper on my dorm bed that I love- but as you may know, those are expensive but I wanted comfort for my futon on a budget, especially since it’s not slept on as frequently as my bed. I knew that this topper wasn’t going to be as comfortable as my memory foam mattress topper that I have on my bed- which is true, so if that’s what you are looking for this is not that. It’s also way less money than that so keep that in mind. I think if this was going on a real bed this would be undoubtedly be even more comfortable. My futon is janky and uneven so this really helps give it some cushion and comfort. I used I hate sleeping on my futon and it is much more tolerable with this. It takes a while to fluff up to full capacity so be patient and don’t sleep on it right after you pull it out of the packaging. I do like that it takes up less space than a big memory foam topper and it is also much lighter. Once I graduate, I will definitely be putting this on my full sized mattress at home because it does add some extra cushion. - not the kind you sink into and can’t move out of- but like you are laying on a few layers of fluffy blankets.

This topper was soft and effective. I stretched it out on the sofa bed mattress and it was fully expanded when checked 24 hours later and no discernible odor right out of the package. It really made a difference in the comfort. I had to remove it to fold the sofa back up-it was a little bulky but fit into a duffle I had on hand for storage.

I love this mattress topper so freaking much! Unfortunately, I do not have central ac so in the summers, I have to sleep in the lower level of my house on an air mattress. I bought it to use on an air mattress that was so stiff, I would wake up feeling like I slept in a casket for 12 years. It makes a total difference. The pain relief was immediate and amazing. So much so that once I returned to my bedroom, I put the mattress topper on my bed. It makes my bed feel like it’s brand new. I love it.

I didn't believe many of the reviews on here about the lumps after first wash, maybe they did something wrong? But it's true! This is a nice mattress topper IF you do not plan on ever washing it. This is mind blowing to me because it is bedding and needs to be washed! Especially with it having a chemical smell out of the packaging. My son was so happy when he got it and it looked beautiful and so cozy. I went to the tag and followed instructions, delicate and cold wash. I dried on tumble low and then hung to finish drying. I treated it very delicately because of fear of these lumps people or posting pictures of. It is finally dry and LUMPS of gel memory foam everywhere inside!. Worst part, the foam looks like it ripped inside the center leaving no foam at all in center. After searching for weeks for a perfect topper for my child I grabbed this one because it looked nice and was on a lightning deal, cant beat ti!. But now I see why the price, it is a one time use topper. I've never been so disappointed because my son was so happy for it and now is sad because he can't use it! Tag should say SPOT CLEAN ONLY, No wash! But bedding needs to be washed so this is ridiculous! I'm guessing the people leaving good reviews have not washed it yet. I have to wash everything that I buy that goes in contact with skin, I regret this purchase! Wish I added a other 35 and bought a better quality topper. ☹️ *UPDATE* Had to add some stars for great customer service. They offered to send my son a new one. I will not be washing it this time! In future, for the price, I can repurchase a new one instead.
