Super cute garbage truck toy. I bought it for my 3yo and it’s a bit too sophisticated for him. But he loves it and I know he’ll grow into it. The remote control takes some practice but the toy itself is sturdy and large and it comes with a garbage bin. Really cute

My 3-year old loves this truck. It has great sounds, easy to drive, and lots of great details. The only downside is to charge it you need to unscrew the battery out and plug it in and then unscrew it again etc.. would be better if it just had a direct connection. Otherwise great toy for any truck fans. I enjoy it too.

This toy was a tremendous hit with both my 14 year old son and his dad! We buy lots of toys for my son, who has autism and a fascination for vehicles. We've bought him many remote control vehicles in the past, which he relied on daddy to operate, and quickly lost interest in; my basement is full of them! This toy, however, was the first toy that he could operate by himself without help. It is easy to use, and works really well! It moves very freely, the ladder swivels 360 degrees, up and own, the water squirts (not a deluge, but a pleasant thin stream) well enough to put out candles (which he LOVED doing) and the noise is not too loud. There are also a variety of sounds that it makes. It's well made and sturdy, truly the Mercedes Benz of firetrucks! It's also very safe, and looks fantastic. Worth every penny.

This is very realistic and the remote is pretty complex. It’s appropriate for boys who are very intense and focused when playing with these kind of toys. Not really a first time type remote toy. My little boy is 4 but he is very concentrated when using this and it is AMAZING. The parts that go on the arm are interchangeable and sturdy. I am so pleased with this purchase. It is amazing to watch him operate this thing.

I'm reviewing the DOUBLE E Remote Control Fire Truck 10 Channel Water Pump 18 Inch Extendable Ladder Fire Engine with Working Sounds Lights Rechargeable 2.4GHz Toy Trucks for Kids Pros: It arrived quickly. Cons: The battery compartment and removal design on the firetruck is poor. It's a real aggravation for an adult and even more so for a young child. Everytime you want to charge the battery on the firetruck, you have to unscrewed a tiny metal screw out of a plastic hole to remove the battery compartment cover. Then you have to unplug a tedious, tiny connector to remove the battery. Then use your own phone charger with the toy company's special cable to charge the battery. I suspect its only a matter of time before the plastic hole gets stripped out from repeated wear and tear of the metal screw going in and out. A better design would be a USB-C port on the truck just like newer phones use. Then simply plug in your phone charger to the USB-C port on the firetruck to charge the battery. It makes no sense to have to remove the battery everytime you want to charge it. Would you want a phone that worked that way? I think not. The battery cover for the controller uses the same metal screw-to-plastic hole design as the truck. A better approach would be to copy the design used by many tv and dvr remotes. They simply have a plastic clip or tab that you press to remove the cover. After replacing the AA batteries you simply clip/snap the cover back into place. I suspect over time the repeated screwing and unscrewing into plastic will cause the hole to strip out. Then you will need to rig the battery cover with tape or velcro. Maybe its me but the noise this thing produces is aggravating and the ladder makes a loud click as if it were about to break. It's going back. At this price point I expect a better design.
