The item arrived in four heavy cardboard cartons with all of the bolts, nuts, washers necessary for each item packed in blister packs so nothing gets lost. It took two men four hours to fully assemble. I would NOT recommend one person trying to assemble all of this by themselves; assembly is a project. There are several sharp metal edges that can cut, and the 60" diameter table alone probably weighs 80 pounds. When assembly is completed the end result speaks of quality, attention to detail and excellence. There is a central hole for an umbrella, but an umbrella must be ordered separately. The chairs both swivel and rock gently. The cushions are thick and allegedly weather resistant. The finish is a deep, rich bronze color and the table is intricately patterned. I write this after a half-day assembly, with every item well-packed. Be careful of a few sharp edges and note that the table is both beautiful, thick and heavy. The instructions are excellent and must be followed or warranty can be voided and chair rocking assembly especially could be dangerous if not meticulously assembled in accordance with excellent directions. This is a quality product. Its assembly requires time, patience and ideally a few simple power tools to save time. It can be be assembled using the manual tools already provided along with the nuts, bolts, washers, etc., but it will take much longer. A year later, the patio set has survived high-elevation UV daily a 31" single snowfall and lots of other snow ... and it looks like new. A quality product. Would buy again in a second. ... show more

    • This 60" table is NOT big enough for 6 chairs. A 6-chair table should be at least 78" to 84" round

First of all, this set's beauty, it is nice enough (seat cushions are on the thin side). In my opinion, there are three reasons NOT to buy this set. #1. The set provides 6 chairs with a 4-chair table. If you're looking for a 4-person set this is for you because the table is perfect for 4 chairs -- Although, the $$ are way too much for a 4-person set. #2. The chairs are packaged two to a box. The two bases are stacked on top of the two seating sections. This guarantees that the top seat backs in each box will get damaged (gouged). The flimsy cardboard that they use to try and protect the top seatbacks did not work and on my set, three out of the six seatbacks had gouging marks (the top seatback in each box), the bases wore through the cardboard and gouged the seatbacks. #3. The set is made in China. I for one do not want my disposable income being spent on items that supports China's economy. ... show more

The table frame is made from thin aluminum, and it is very flimsy! The material/engineering of the chairs is much better. The glass top is really good. The chairs are not comfortable to sit on at all without the cushions. Overall, you can find a much better material and design for this price. I do not recommend it for this price. ... show more

Very nice! We ordered this, unsure of what we were getting, but are absolutely delighted! Our umbrella works with it, the chairs are comfortable but not too heavy, the table is beautiful and light enough for 2 people to move easily. We are very happy with it!

Really nice aluminum dining set. My husband quickly had it put together and ready to use. The one thing he immediately mentioned was that the chair cushions were thin. I’m in agreement. Considering the high cost of this set, the cushions should be thicker and firmer, making them more comfortable.
