I bought two 12x10 tarps to cover my lumber pile on the 24' side of my garage. The material is very heavy and looked promising--but when I tried to tie one tarp to the other, the grommet placement didn't match. Also, one corner grommet with the plastic backer fell off so that I had to attach it directly to the garage with screws and fender washers. And other grommets look as if they may also fall off due to being poorly crimped. It looks like the grommets are haphazardly attached so as to have five per side no matter the measurements. So maybe you could make Sharpie marks on the work table where grommets are attached--so that your child laborers can put them all at the same place on each tarp? ... show more

    • Heavy Duty Tarp worth every dime

Use: It was used for a ground cover for our tent during a rock festival, and later as a canopy. Environment: 5" tall grass/weed field with stubble, some thorns, and severe thunderstorms. Purchased this to place under our tent during a 3 day Rock Festival, and later for shade and rain protection. The ground had been soaked by rain for weeks before the event. Even later when we experienced 70 mph winds during a tornado warning, it stayed firmly in place without any movement, and no grommet damage. In short it did exactly what we expected. Later used it for a cover from the rain and sun, never had a drop of rain under it; it's very heavy duty. Would recommend it to others, see notes about backpacking. Grommets: Very secure, and tightly fastened, pulled it very tight and used heavy duty stakes, no issues. Have not used this tarp seems nice and thick and good quality but the measured size is less than what is specified I ordered the 10 x 12 foot tarp is measures 9 feet 10 inches by 11 feet 8 inches so there fore it will not completely cover my tent floor as a ground cloth the tent is 7 x 12 I needed the 12 feet underneath and then the xtra to have room in front of the tent but now of course it will not completely cover the bottom. When using ground cloths under a tent in most cases the ground cloth gets nasty and dirty and wet this is why I wanted one that completely covers the bottom now I suppose I have to order a ginourmous and more expensive tarp. ... show more

we took this camping for just in case and it came in handy when it started to rain unexpectedly! we hung it up and created a makeshift canopy using ropes and it kept us dry!

A whopping 50% thicker waterproof coating than most tarps available locally. Thank you Hanjet. Everything underneaath was as dry aas a bone from Aug 2020 thru 1st wk of April 2021, just about a full 8 months. Don't let the condensation on the inside tarp surface during a heavy rain decieve you; it's NOT leakage, just a dew point temperature and high humidity; in an hour after the storm, the tarp surface is dry with no trace of water. The tarp itself is well cut square and very. durable wwith extra heavy duty grommet reinforcement. I'll definiteely buy again and highly recommend product. Surprisingly well made, very large and folds up nice. Good and thick and not too heavy. Going to work awesome as a camping tarp. Corners are reinforced with plastic corner covers and brass eyelets.

Great tarp to have for camping. Very durable (used it as a footprint tarp) no cuts or damage by rock or sticks. Rained a lot on our trip and did very well keeping the water out. Would buy again.
