Have put about six 6 hours on it so far, and I love it. Pushes my 14ft vbottom to about 22 mph. Starts super easy. My old engine was a 6hp evenrude, now twice the power and 30lbs lighter. I definitely recommend this engine. A 9hp of any big brand will run you at least 3k.

The media could not be loaded. Reliable so far after the break in period has ran well in all types of water and pushes my 1648 alumacraft boat at almost 11 mph fully loaded.

Great motor for the price. It runs better than I expected. I followed manufacturers break in instructions. I am at the end of that period. It has worked great starts easy and moves my 10' inflatable dingy with ease. Does about 20 mph and jumps on plane with two adults. It seems comparable to motors more than 2x the price. the parts may be a little less durable but time will tell. I did break one of the plastic handles you use to tighten the motor to your boat. I probably overtightened it, but I was able to use a scrap aluminum piece to replace it. ... show more

I believe that I bought a used motor. Haven't tried the motor yet, but the gas container is a little beat up. The filter inside the tank is broke and there is actual fuel in the tank. Never have I encountered something like this.

I spent alot of money trying to get this motor to work. New fuel tank didn't work,new fuel pump didn't work. New fuel lines and squeeze primer bulb and lines. Would stop after 1/4mile.had to row 3 miles to boat ramp one day. Piece of crap.please please don't waste your money.
