The formula is nice and thick. The fragrance is exactly the same as the visible difference line which is a nice clean scent but definitely not offensive at all. I have used the hand treatment for many years then I saw this tub of body lotion. Holy smokes! It’s as creamy as the hand lotion. I already used it on my very scratchy elbows and with two applications my elbows already feel better! I am so very happy with this product. I have used Elizabeth Arden since 1982 and goodness knows my skin looks young and I get compliments all the time because I don’t have wrinkles. I have very thin sensitive skin which should wrinkle easy - but I have used EA products all my life and now I love this body lotion. Excellent! Super value because a little goes a long way!

I grew up in Minnesota where the cold air would chap lips and cause cuticles to dry and split. I was introduced to this Elizabeth Arden product by a friend who knew high-quality products and found it quickly solved these skin problems. Over four decades have passed since then, and Elizabeth Arden 8-hour Cream has stood the test of time as well as multiple environments (including years in Tokyo and San Jose, CA). I always keep a tube in my purse, workout bag, and a smaller amount in my carry-on travel essentials. My husband even asks me for it. Rarely does a day go by that I don't used it at least twice.

I order this product every year as a gift. This is the second time this has happened, so I’ll just repeat my review from last year. I will also add that on the day of delivery it was raining. Had the driver put the package just one more step up, it would have been sheltered under the eaves. Instead, he put it on a step that was open to the elements, and the packaging got wet. I don’t think I’ll be ordering this from Amazon any longer. Disappointed with the packaging, especially given the price. The product itself is wonderful. Very effective on dry skin, even mild eczema, and it has a slight herbal scent. It was, however, delivered in a bubble envelope. The box was damaged, kind of flattened to one side, and the top tab was bent. Disappointing, as this is a gift. It should have been sent in a box. I’m wondering if I received one that was returned.

*Edit: love this product but have issues with this specific tube. - It is very dry. I thought that might just be the bottom of the tube when I first opening it but the whole tube seems to have been sitting somewhere too long. Lotion comes out in long tubes that hold their shape because there is not enough moisture in it. I have bought this product many times and this is specific to this order. Product is still useable, but not as good as it normally is. Best lotion ever. I use it on my face after a shower - just a thin coat - or in the winter. I even put it on my lips. And of course it's great for the hands. I stopped using all my fancy face lotions - this is so much better. You can toss all the rest!

This is my favorite go to lotion. As long as I use it in the winter I have no problems. However, I hate the tube. The lotion is thick and with arthritis in my hands it is hard to get the lotion out. This use to come in a jar with a screw top which made it very easy. Wish Elizabeth Arden would go back to selling it in the jar again.
