This phone case is truly amazing! I have been a huge supporter and user of Urban Armor Gear products, but that changes now. I got an UAG case that was vastly disappointing; the quality has gone down so bad while the price just goes up. Quick note, they did have good customer service and took the case back. Moving on, I did a ton of research and found this UB Grip Case. First, I like that you can see the orange phone through the case without compromising the protection level. I like the very strong magnet on the back. The ring/stand is very strong as well. The charging is spot on with a good MagSafe charger not a standard regular wireless charger. The price is amazing for what this case is. I would put this case above the UAG Monarch which I have used on several phones in the past. I have dropped it a few times with absolutely no worries. I even accidentally dropped it hard when I nearly fell in front of a car at Walmart. It hit the ground and slightly chipped the metal corner. BUT…the phone was perfectly fine after taking a very hard hit. Then to top it off, the company sent me a replacement bc of the slightly chipped corner. Talk about incredible customer service! Trust me when I say, you want this case. But let me add, I always advise a good screen protector. This case still has edges that keep the face off surfaces even with a screen protector on. If you want all in one, they make a UB Grip Pro that comes with a screen protector. Like your phone? You’ll love this case! Oh, and it truly grips well with great texture not hard plastic junk like other brands who claim to be “grippy”.

For the price, I think this case brings a lot of value. It has a kickstand ring on the back that is good for propping your phone up while you wash dishes or have a Zoom meeting. It’s easy to put on and take off. It fits the phone fine and the MagSafe ring on the back is actually very strong. The buttons feel tactile and there is so nice grip on the sides. It’s been through a few drops and has protected my phone well. This case is worth your money and this brand is one I would purchase from again.

I have to admit, I originally wanted my iPhone 17 in sage, but availability had other ideas and all they had was lavender. So, I took the lavender phone, figuring I would eventually find a case that gave it more of the rugged, understated look I wanted. The moment I found this SUPCASE, I knew it might be the answer to my prayers and after seeing it in person, I am even happier with my decision. The first thing that genuinely surprised me is that this is not nearly as bulky as you would expect from a case offering this level of protection. Looking at the specifications, 15-foot drop testing, four corner airbag protection, raised screen and camera bezels, reinforced construction, you might expect something that turns an iPhone into a brick. It doesn't. The case keeps the iPhone 17 looking relatively slim while giving it an incredibly cool, almost tactical industrial appearance. The multi-material construction is where this case really shines in my opinion. The combination of the darker protective frame, textured grip areas, reinforced corners, metallic looking accents, and the olive/sage colored back creates a very premium appearance. In my case, that green finish was a particularly nice bonus because it gave my lavender iPhone much more of the sage inspired look I originally wanted. Pictures looked good, but the case looks even better in person! Protection Without The "OtterBox Brick" Feeling This is the kind of case that gives you confidence when you leave the house. The reinforced corners and airbag design are clearly intended to absorb impact where phones are most vulnerable during a drop. The raised bezels are another feature I really appreciate because they help keep both the screen and camera lenses elevated when the phone is placed on a flat surface. The claimed 1.5 mm camera protection and 2.0 mm screen protection provide meaningful clearance without making the case feel excessively thick. Of course, nobody should intentionally test the limits of a 15-foot drop rating, but it is reassuring to know the case is built to meet MIL-STD-810H-516.8 drop-testing standards. Excellent Grip! One Of The Most Important Features For me, protection isn't just about surviving a drop; it is also about helping prevent the drop in the first place. The textured sides provide an excellent grip without feeling rough or uncomfortable. The phone feels secure in my hand and that makes a noticeable difference when carrying it around, taking it out of a pocket or using it one handed. The case doesn't feel slippery and the overall shape gives your fingers plenty to hold onto. That combination of slimness, texture and reinforced edges are probably my favorite aspect of the design. The MagSafe And Kickstand Features Add Real Functionality The integrated N52 magnet is another major advantage. The advertised magnetic strength of up to 1800g gives the case the kind of strong attachment you want when using MagSafe accessories rather than the weak magnetic connection found in some cheaper cases. The built-in aluminum alloy kickstand is also thoughtfully integrated. When you aren't using it, it doesn't dominate the design or make the back feel unnecessarily cluttered. When you need it, however, having multiple viewing angles available is genuinely convenient for watching videos, video calls, recipes or simply keeping the phone upright on a desk. Camera Control Integration Matters I also appreciate that the case incorporates a dedicated cover for the iPhone 17's Camera Control/Capture button rather than treating it as an afterthought. Cases can sometimes interfere with the feel or responsiveness of phone controls, so a design that is intended to integrate directly with the function is an important detail. My Final Thoughts This case manages to accomplish something that is harder than it sounds: It provides serious protection without making the iPhone 17 feel like it is wearing body armor. It doesn't hurt that it is also super easy to install. It is rugged, highly gripable, MagSafe compatible, equipped with a useful kickstand and offers raised protection around both the screen and camera. Yet it still looks slim enough to preserve the sleek feel of the phone itself. But beyond the technical features, this is simply a great looking case! The high quality multi-material construction gives it a premium, aggressive style that makes the iPhone look incredibly cool. In my particular situation, it even gave me the sage inspired appearance I originally wanted when I had to settle for a lavender phone. If you want serious drop protection but refuse to carry around a bulky, oversized phone case, this is exactly the kind of case worth considering. It protects like a rugged case, grips like a practical everyday case and looks far better than most of the heavy-duty options I have seen. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to protect an iPhone 17 without hiding its slim profile and for anyone who appreciates a case that looks just as impressive as it functions.

Fits my iPhone 17 Pro Max perfectly. Does add some extra weight to the phone though, but I think it is a small concession for perfect protection of my phone. The grip is not as good as previous cases that I have owned and I actually lost my grip on my phone two times in the first week of ownership. Now that I have gotten used to the grip, I can attest that not only was my iPhone fully protected--no damage to my phone AND not a mark or scuff on the case when even it was dropped onto the pavement. When that happened I was certain my case was severely damaged but the case still looks brand new without a scratch or a scuff! And the beauty of this black case with copper color buttons and accents blends perfectly with my orange iPhone. Cutouts on this case are perfectly engineered to match my phone precisely. Also the copper magnetic ring on the back is a very strong magnet that can easily secure a wallet. This is my most favorite case of any that I have ever owned.

I've had this case for two weeks. Unintentionally dropped my phone twice already - once on concrete (getting out of car, classic), once on kitchen tile (butter fingers). Phone survived. Case is solid. Military-grade, so they say ... Foldable, MAG friendly Ring is Must - big Plus. Ergonomic shape fits my hand and when doing something grip is good. Not too bulky - slips in and out of pocket OK. The kickstand for landscape and portrait - even Otters don't have it. MagSafe: Sticks to my car mount good but may depend on your phone holder. Strong magnets (1800g force, whatever that means - it's STRONG). Wireless charging works as well through the case. BUT. And here's where Soviet engineering meets American optimism. The camera area. Wide open. Exposed. Vulnerable. Like leaving your front door unlocked in a nice neighborhood - sure, PROBABLY nothing will happen, but... I dropped it lens-side-down last week. Heart stopped. Camera survived - this time. But there's no protection there. No slider. No clip-on cover. Nothing. For a "military-grade protection" case, this is like building a tank and forgetting armor for the turret. You can try to buy a separate protection for this area only - but sizing and shapes are miss or hit across all the models and vendors. Not sure such a great case is missing this aspect. Maybe in the next version ... Would I buy again? Yes, if I know (still searching) to buy a separate lens protector. So for now using Otter with Ailun with the clip. Hope this helps.

product review for the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Grip case. An Absolute Tank of a Case (and I've Got the Clumsy Hands to Prove It) Y'all, I'm not gonna lie. My phone and I have a complicated relationship. My hands are basically butter-covered bricks, and my phone has a strange magnetic attraction to the pavement. I've gone through more phone cases than I have pairs of socks. 🧦 But this SUPCASE? This thing is a game-changer. First of all, the Arctic color is stunning. It's like a winter wonderland for my phone, and it stands out just enough that I can spot it when I inevitably drop it into the abyss of my purse. The kickstand is a total MVP. it Watching a movie on my phone has never been easier, and it's super sturdy. I've even used it as an impromptu fidget toy during boring meetings. But the real star of the show is the camera control cover. It's a lifesaver. No more smudgy lenses or rogue pocket lint ruining my perfect shots of my cat. It's like a little bodyguard for my camera.
