    • Very sharp looking shed.
There were reviews I read from same manufacturer but different design that were good, and some complained about warped boards. I took a chance as it was a good deal at time with a coupon for a few hundred dollars off. First, this needs independent shipping. And the third party communicated well on delivery and running late. The weight noted is wrong and weighs much more. 12X10 says its about 1200 lbs. on the description. It was closer to 1800 lbs. I bring this up because its generally two men delivering on a straight truck. Mine came around 7 pm in July. Only the driver. If I wanted it now, I needed to help him. I wish he would have come earlier when the rental place was open and I would have rented a donkey forklift. It took the driver and myself well over an hour and 30 minutes to unload. Using my pickup truck to pull this crate out of the truck with a log chain, then slowly balance it on the tommy lift gate, lowering. Then hooking it up to a JD riding lawn mower and pulling it into my driveway. It was a red neck show for the neighbors. My point here is making sure the delivery people are able to handle. If not, send it back until they can. They will call you ahead with an ETA. The product was not the easiest to assemble. I have construction background, and the instructions could be better. For the most part, most the lumber was fairly straight. I liked the idea these were 2X4's instead of 2X3 or smaller like other sheds have. I did have an issue with all the 2x3's that are used on the overhang as they were warped and unusable. I had to go to the lumberyard and buy and make my own. Some 2X4's were slightly off but not an issue on side walls, just make sure the straightest ones are where the seams of the outside panels will be attached. I did not use the floor that came with it as a floor. I already had one in place and reused. I did use the floor and material to build a loft that was 8X10 with access in the front and for shelving. You supply tar paper, shingles, and paint. It looks really sharp. I painted to match the house. I bought battery operated motion lights off amazon for some lighting which really helps. The window does let some light in. I added small sized gutters from Menard's and have four 30-gallon barrels hooked up in series behind the shed that capture rainwater for the garden's and my wife's house plants. I'd buy it again but don't need to. I'd make the delivery driver come back with adequate help and proper unloading tools. A pallet jack and a 2-wheel hand cart for a 4X8 1600 lb. pallet does not work. Also, it has a very steep roof. Doesn't say, but it's about a 10/12 pitch making it very difficult to shingle for a DIY. ... show more
