when I scanned a barcode it would always add a weird character at the beginning that I had to delete to add rest of barcode manually. Then quit working all together. Halfway worked maybe a month.

We already have a few Barcode readers put in different sections of our warehouse for specific purposes and needed an additional one for receivables. This barcode reader is very handy and with multiple options for connectivity. The USB dongle connectivity has the greatest use case. The other Bluetooth-based scanner we have needs extra work before each scan to connect to our tablet and gets disconnected every now and then, but this one is just scanned and done. This does work great in both the sun as well as low light which is an issue with our other scanners. It did come with a stand and now I have a known place to find this scanner. The issue I faced was with UPS tracking barcode. Out of the box, it was missing the last character of the barcode and instead, it was pasting the barcode 2 times, delimited with carriage return. I am not sure what but with few tips and tricks over the internet it got fixed. Pros: - Multiple connectivity options. Bluetooth and wireless dongle works great - works great in both Low light and high light - longer battery life - Internal storage to store barcodes when you are far from a PC Cons: - The wired connectivity is via a micro-USB cable, which is not a durable solution for wired scanning. - Requires a bit of work for out of the box experience, in some cases.

This wireless barcode reader rocks! I picked up this scanner to inventory all of my books and boy am I glad I did! It captured every single barcode, even the ones that were damaged or had reflective tape over them. You can take the scanner right to your books instead of having to lug them all to the reader/computer. It can be connected through Bluetooth or via the included dongle to a laptop. The battery lasted quite a while on a single charge. You can charge with the USB charger and scan at the same time. It’s super easy to use (I taught my 11-year-old how to use it) and it integrated seamlessly with my online library program.

I use wired scanners supplied by my employer and ordered this as soon as I saw it. So far so good. Battery life is good. The charging port with the radio frequency USB adapter stored next to it makes for a good location. Everything feels the same, weight, trigger, balance, grip, it seems well made and feels of the same quality as what we use at work. With a bonus of being wireless. Good: Wireless easier to scan things without dealing with a cable. Bad: The lack of a cable allows the scanner to fall and hit the ground vs being stopped part way by the cable. Dropping or bumping these off of the carts and counters at work happens more often than I would like. Really nice to have a stand. The stand saves so much time for items that are small enough to pass under the always on mode. Wireless is great for items further away or heavier. This will be used until it falls apart. From what it feels and looks like that will be a few years from now, if I can keep from knocking it off my cart. For sure recommended.

This is pretty much a plug and play scanner. I didn't have to do anything for it to read my barcodes' symbology. It has a convenient stand that is easy to assemble and includes all the cords to charge it and use it cordlessly. You can also use it connected to your computer. There are occasions when there are delays in scanning, but for the most part it works very well for the price.
