It does get a little heavy to hold for a small hand. Not a big problem though. It steams out stubborn wrinkles and leaves fabrics smooth and nice.

I hate ironing. There's so much to pull out to do it and frankly, I'm more apt to pick a different outfit than bother to iron something. I've wanted a steamer for a while, cause it can live near my closet and when I pull out something wrinkled, I can just steam it while it's still on the hanger. This is GREAT for that. It's super user friendly and easy to figure out how to use. Just add water (which comes with a pitcher to make that easy) turn it on and steam away. It's super sturdy, the cord could be longer, but it's not so short that you can't move it around. The steamer itself is pretty small, so you could easily take this with you if you travel. I bought this clothes steamer and did not try to use it upon receipt. Six weeks later when I tried to use it, it would not work. Could not return because it was past the return window. Total waste of money.

I really wanted a steamer to straighten linens like napkins, table cloths, and obviously clothing. However, this for some reason had a hard time getting my linens smooth. I tried for a while and I thought maybe because it was a synthetic material but when I moved to the linen napkins, it was the same tedious endeavor. Perhaps there are some tips and tricks I’m missing, but I don’t remember it being this difficult with other steamers. I will say it does well on satin fabrics but even still that took considerable effort. Overall, I don’t use it as much as I would have hoped for but it may work for you. ... show more

The long and short of it is that the garment steamer here generally worked, with the only caveat being that the cord isn't quite as long as I'd like, so be aware of where you're plugging it in. We did have some issues with it spitting, but I think that's more user error than anything else. Still, it gets wrinkles out of clothes, which is the whole point. ... show more
