I really wanted to like this. I was so excited based on the reviews. But unfortunately, it's not all as it's to be. A couple things that should have been included in the directions. The directions do not show you how to replace or refill the bobbin. It also does not show you if the flat part of the needle goes in the front or back, or if it didn't matter. Not to mention the way you do replace the needled. It's pretty hard to get your fingers in there to hold the screw steady for you to screw it back in. You would need baby fingers to hold it. Not only that, the screw fell inside the machine and I'm not able to retrieve it. I wish it was as good as I thought it was supposed to be. It may work and accommodate to others and it's possible it could be user error. But I don't know. It is what it is. I did leave a couple notes that I just inside the box in case someone else received this item and knew what to expect.

I’ve used this handheld sewing machine a few times for light fixes like patching small holes and hemming pants. It took a little patience to get used to the threading at first, but once I figured it out, it worked fine for simple stitching jobs. The case is nicely organized, and it’s helpful having all the threads, bobbins, and tools in one spot. I like that it runs either on batteries or USB, so I can use it at home or pack it for small travel fixes.
