This was a gift for my son for Christmas. He loves it and so do we! He is 8, and both myself and my husband were born in the early 80’s, so of course it’s nostalgic for us! We love playing it and I’m sure with such extended use, we will be needing more by the end of the year.

I bought this for fun and to play some of the old classic games I used to play as a kid. For the price, it's really fun. It's cheap, so don't expect much quality, but it's still good value for money. But it's very clear. The buttons feel good and responsive, and the game selection is great ...... You can spend a lot of time browsing through these games. Some of the games I've never heard of are probably imports, etc. Other games seem to be ports or homebrews. In any case ...... This is all great for when the kids come over to play, or as I mentioned in the video, I'll keep it in my computer bag for when I'm traveling or bored at work). It brings back memories of my childhood. I love that it can be played in pairs and has lots of games. It also connects to the TV which is great. My son and I will have so much fun playing it when we grow up.

This console is one of the best money can buy. This is an awsome handheld retro game console. Far exceeds my expectation. These have classic games that remind me of my childhood games. Hours and hours of fun. Portable and quite different from other game consoles. My kid loved it. The package includes all the accessories. Connecting to TV was easy. No adverstisement is a bonus for me. Be it a birthday gift or a christmas present, kids would definetly love this!!! I would absolutely recommend this product.

I got this as a spare just to play when I was bored or my other gaming devices were charging or something ... I was surprised at how well it worked and how it came halfway charged already ..... plus using the 2 player option was especially fun .... I love that it has the option both to play handheld, like a gameboy, and also to hook up to your TV and use a different controller with the TV.

I love this device. It has so many games to offer and it brings back childhood memories. This device is always with me for when i get bored its fun to pull out and play with. this is actually a really neat toy and offered more than I realized.

We gave it as a gift to our kids. I bought this for the kid so that he would have something to entertain him while I was at work, as I sometimes take him with me when I work. He loves it and it connects to the TV with the input cable that came with the console. We tried it out and it was a lot of fun. The price was very affordable, which is definitely a good thing. They had a lot of fun with it. It's a great handheld device with retro games like Super Mario Bros. and Mortal Kombat. We love the fact that it can be used on the TV. Everything runs great and the graphics are great. This would make a great Christmas gift for a child or the whole family!!!!

My seven year old is addicted! We love all the different super Mario games and 2 player games. The additional plug in remote included is genius. My five year old enjoys being player 2, though she is not as technologically advanced as her sis and has a harder time timing jumps and such. The battery could last longer, but for 500+ games and at least 4 hours of straight gameplay, the value is astounding! It can be played while charging. It has a headphone jack, although I haven't tried it. If my kids were to break it, I'd buy it again, though it's a pretty lightweight but sturdy construction. I even enjoy sitting back and playing with them. The screen is great and lit to be played at night. I haven't tried it outside, but figure it would be fine in shade or in a car as most screens are.There is volume adjustment which is much needed bc it has some loud sound when it's all the way up. All the games are old school graphics which is a real throwback that I love. I haven't found the game pictured in the product image and am wondering if that type of graphic is on this system or if it is just a image that was placed. It doesn't have any save features, so once you die in super Mario for example, you'll have to start from the beginning. This might be frustrating for older kids, but for my young kids, it gives them a video game history experience and hand eye coordination practice in quite a few types and styles of games. Either way, I'm happy with my purchase and would buy again if this got broken or lost! I'll probably buy one when my 2 and 3 year old reach this age.

When turned on, a huge menu appears with hundreds of games you can scroll through. Some buttons skip ahead 10 at a time, others 40 to help get to the particular game you want. All are built-in so no cartridges. There is a volume control which also allows you to turn off sound completely - great for us parents!
