This is definitely a different and nicer looking style over this older generation kitchen hand mixers and with some nicer features too. My old mixer just had the 2 standard mixing attachment while this gives you 3 styles. The speed dial is also different being rotary at the end of the handle which took me a bit to find not looking at the directions first. And the trigger is a variable speed trigger with a momentary speed boost button on the top for your thumb to activate. Nice. And the eject button is not something you would just quickly figure out without looking at the manual but is actually the top part of the front round plastic piece. That is not an intuitive feature as is the in your face eject button on the old style mixers, but works none the less. All this put together makes for one very nice modern looking and well working hand mixer. The only thing missing that would be nice to have is a stand for this that it would fit into that can also accommodate the attachments. Maybe later I can CNC something like that in my shop for it. But for now, I can take my old one to my work shop and use it for something else like mixing paint and use this one in the kitchen where it belongs from now on.

After using this mixer a few times I think it runs very smoothly. Speed 1 doesn’t splatter everything everywhere. The one thing I don’t like is the unusual places they put buttons. They aren’t accessible all from your one hand. I dislike the front button that releases the beaters nor the speed dial at the far end of the handle. It works well, but still unsure if I would buy again.

I’ve gotten into baking recently and wanted to branch out with making new things. Most things I can mix by hand but some speedy power is needed to get the right texture and consistency for certain mixes. This mixer is all I need cuz it hasn’t failed me yet. There are 5 attachment pieces included that include a whisk, 2 beaters, and 2 dough hooks. All the attachments are made well and the beaters and dough hooks are of average size while the whisk is smaller than a typical one. The speed level is determined by turning the dial on the handle and the amount of pressure on the trigger controls the power of the speed. It’s extremely easy to use and comfortable to hold while doing so.

the cord tucks away into the base of the machine, and i'm sold. the only thing better would be to give the attachments a permanent home on the machine itself. but i can understand having the accessories loose, they are fairly easy to store as is. and this set includes the basic necessities in having two beaters, two dough hooks and a whisk attachment. the buttons are located in a good spot that fits my hand well. and even though the dial at the end of the handle is out of the way for the most part, it is easy to swivel into a new speed accidentally when not careful. but i love it has a pulse option and all the speed variations. it's basically exactly what is needed to get the job done and it's fairly compact in doing it. awesome.

- Made in China I'm not a fan. Problems: - Pulse did nothing. Followed instructions, it never worked. - The "long cord storage" doesn't work. Not horrendously important to me but I don't like false claims. It's a hole in the base that in no way can you get the cord in - Speed control is a nob on the end of the handle. It has to be done with the other hand and it's awkward when you're using it. Lots of things I do require multiple speeds - It's quite heavy. And loud. Much more so than the 12+ yr old unit this was supposed to replace - It does this weird ramp-up when you turn it on. Is that The New Thing these days? I don't care for it. It starts at a low speed and takes a few seconds to get to full speed. If it's already in the mix, it can overstress itself, becoming louder and causing greater wear on the motor This is a very common item among these foreign Alibaba-esque resellers, all types and prices. Be sure to look around. I can't recommend this one.

After years my old hand mixer died, I wanted something not to light and comfortable to use. This mixer has just enough weight to it to make it easy to handle. The motor is strong, doesn’t bog down with a stiff dough but gentle/fast enough to whip egg whites or cream. It’s not too loud so no headache and you can hear a conversation. It comes with three different attachments which are strong and don’t bend or warp. The cord is long enough you don’t have to be right on top of the plug-in. The handle is grippy and large enough to get a good grip on it. I like that it has a release button for the attachments, a lot of new mixers you just pull the beaters out. It Doesn't get hot to the touch when you you it for an extended amount of time. It’s very stable when set on its end, there is no falling over.
