I’ve used it for a few different tasks, from grinding some metal edges to polishing up old surfaces, and it really performs well. The grinding wheels included in the kit are a nice bonus and have held up through multiple jobs without any noticeable wear. One thing I appreciated is how lightweight it is. It makes it easier to maneuver, especially in tighter spots. The trigger is comfortable, and I didn’t find myself getting fatigued even during longer sessions. Overall, I think the Hammerhead angle grinder offers great value for the price. It’s easy to use and gets the job done without any fuss. This is a tough grinder for the price and and versatility from the hand held trigger adjustable speed and stops quick when you release it- no hunting for the off switch. The quick release on the blade guard made it easy for a lefty. And the wrench for the wheel stashes in the extra handle. Probably burned through 100 blades means it's durable, just keep an the guards release arm, it sometimes works loose perfect. ... show more

My deck is 10x25 feet. It needed complete resurface and a floor tool was not going to work. This thing did every sq in, no issues, long run times, lots of dust. This is the thing they don't make anymore.

I had a cheap Harbor Freight unit. I burnt it out when trying to grind concrete. I'm an occasional user, so this one was a step up. Much stronger, it stayed cooler and the safety shield is adjustable and provided good protection from all the dust that was kicked up. Feels sturdy to the hand and I like the paddle switch. The only drawback might be that the torque twist is not insignificant when you first turn it on, but you get used to it. ... show more

Great price and fits any other 4.5 wheel to be more useful. I used it to smooth out welds and a cutting wheel to trim ¼ steel stock. I'm being very careful as I'm sure you will too. Seems to be well built and rugged. I like it a lot.
