I thought it would be a fairly straight forward purchase and started shopping on Amazon and looking at my preferred brand. However, again and again there were nice comments until it came to the initial slow speed desired. This little appliance has big performance yet is humble enough to start with a truly slow speed and increase as needed. No splatters, no fuss. It is everything advertised. I’ve used it a half dozen times so far and it’s perfect! My 20$ Sunbeam finally pooped the bed and I chose this based on reviews and moderate price. Not disappointed! One convenient thing is my old beaters fit the new machine. This hand mixer works great, especially for small to medium jobs. We use it primarily for making pie fillings, cakes and smaller cookie batches. It's easy to use and easy to clean. It feels well built without being overly heavy. We love the storage case which keeps everything together and makes storing the mixer easy. I can't think of any cons for this mixer. ... show more

The mixer works really well; the five settings for speed transition gradually. The lowest speed is nice for starting the mixing process. It is easy to hold and operate. The plastic box case where the beaters and cord sit when it is put away is a great feature. The aqua color is a fun feature.

Bought this on prime day. Used item. Tapped up by whoever was returning it. Obviously, again a return!!! A used product. I paid for a new item!!! Beaters Wobble!!! Very, Very Unhappy!!! Tried to return & keep getting caught up with radio boxes which will not let me proceed to get a NEW mixer!!! This is NO way to do business!!! Great Customer Service!!! Customer service acted quickly and are sending out a new hand mixer. So Happy, as I feel this will be a great buy. The slow start really is what I need. I think anyone who cooks would need. The cheap hand mixers that I have had, start fast immediately...causing ingredients to fly everywhere. My hair, clothes, counters and floor. I love having a hand mixer for making whipped cream and small jobs. It seems all the hand mixers I've used start out at way too high a speed and make a mess. I specifically looked for a mixer with a low starting speed and this mixer is perfect! It starts out at a crawl and each level gets reasonably faster. No crazy turbo speed, but definitely fast enough to make whipped cream quickly. I also expected the beaters to be flimsy, but they are actually heavy duty and don't bend at all. The mixer itself is also pretty lightweight. I think my preteen daughter will be able to use it as well. Love this thing! ... show more
