    • Good for everything I need!
Size: 4 Quarts
Prefect size for smaller amounts. To carry is a breeze, compared to a larger 6 qt I have. I really like everything about this slow cooker. I had a larger one from Hamilton Beach after15 years it stopped heating. This one has great heating capabilities, with variable temps . The price was excellent.

    • A total game changer.
Size: 7 Quarts
This thing is amazing! I was super picky when choosing it, and being able to set the heat level and the time independently has been incredible. I love it! And I got a really good deal on it -- at the time, it cost less than other options that were smaller and/or did not have timers or independent time and heat settings. It heats up nicely, the heat seems consistent, and the lid fits well and holds the heat/steam in without leaking or bubbling. The cord is an okay length (not super long). It isn't absurdly heavy -- my old one was much smaller and weighed more than this, so it's much easier to move. Cleaning is easier for that reason as well. It doesn't get hot enough to damage surroundings but I did bump my hand against the outside once and burned it. All in all, I'm glad I chose this slow cooker. It's been so nice making yummy things in it knowing it's reliable. ... show more

    • Life saver
Size: 7 Quarts
I bought this product for a gift for my son. He loves it. He works long hours. He put his meal in it before he goes to work and sets the timer. When he arrives home he has a hardy and hot meal after a long day at work. Highly recommend.

    • Well worth what I spent on this, especially compared to in-store versions... great features.
Size: 7 Quarts
This arrived nicely packaged within an extra box that fit perfectly around the Hamilton Beach box. It was a tight fit and kept everything in place during shipment, and arrived perfectly out of the box. I could only note that I made a mess when I pulled the slow cooker out of the box, with all the Styrofoam beads that came out statically charged with it flying around. Anyhow, i'm in the middle of using this currently and so far so good. The food smells great and it is clearly doing its job cooking. The pros: Among a small list of things I love about this slow cooker, I feel l just have to mention, it is a very decently, fairly large sized slow cooker. When I was in the store, after i'd ordered this one, I went poking around looking at the various ones they had available in-store and I could only find ones that were smaller with a digital/timer feature, or ones that were 1 QT less that did not have that feature. (Nothing of the same size with that particular feature that was anything remotely close to this in price.) This feature (the digital timer feature) is important for me, personally, because as I have to cook two separate meals- one for me, with my particular diet restrictions, and one for the rest of my family without the restrictions- this is great; I can just throw in my ingredients, set the timer, go to work, come home, and find that it's been fully cooked and ready for me to package up for my meals. Then I don't have to spend twice as long or split my attention between two separate meals cooking at the same time. No effort involved. I've never had a digital/timer feature on a crock pot or slow cooker previously, so this is quite a lovely feature. I don't have to trust that someone else will turn it off when it's ready. As is regular with most slow cookers or crock pots now, another good feature I enjoy is the inner ceramic bowl comes out and is easily washable or maintainable. It is a sturdy piece and I found it very easy to clean. The cons: I only really have one thing to mention, and I don't even feel entirely strongly about it being an issue. The length of the cable or cord that it comes with is lacking. I have to plug this in in an awkward place in my kitchen, rather than where I was planning on putting it, due to the length of the cord. I am not entirely upset nor surprised, however, because my old one was the same way, so I think that is just standard for crock pots or slow cookers. Overall, I really thought and feel this was a great purchase for the price and it is a high quality slow cooker from a brand that I know to be worth purchasing from for other kitchen utensils or equipment. I see some of the other reviews also state that their customer service team is very easy to work with and willing to help- I have not ever used their customer service yet however if I notice any issues I am looking forward to a good experience dealing with Hamilton Beach. I am hoping this lasts at least as long as my last slow cooker did, and looking forward to many years of great, yummy, and easily cooked meals! ... show more

    • It actually cooks and is awesome!
Size: 4 Quarts
I generally don’t write reviews but decided to write one, hoping it’ll help someone. I owned a Cuisinart 3.5 qt since 2017 and loved it. Then it started shutting down after a few hours by itself and I didn’t want to take any chances with an electric appliance so I discarded it into recycling. Got the Toastmaster (it looked snazzy and had a lid seal and all). Well it looked pretty but didn’t cook my lentils even after 8 hours (my old cuisinart needed only 4-6 hours total on high plus low. Ok, so the Toastmaster was a bust and went back and I got the same model I previously had of the Cuisinart 3.5 Qt. Its black ceramic insert felt lighter than the one I had before but I was hopeful. This brand has/ had a good reputation always and I have other of their appliances too. Same fail- it didn’t cook the lentils even after all the hours. I was very disappointed. I wish I hadn’t thrown my old cuisinart. So I did some more research and asked chat gpt and checked everywhere besides Amazon. Finally I decided to give the old but true brand Hamilton Beach, 4 Qt a try. Viola! It works, it works, it works. The wet same lentils that didn’t cook in the Toastmaster or in the Cuisinart - now cooked in 3-4 hours in the Hamilton Beach. Its pot is heavy enough and it lets me pick the number of hours etc. I’m so happy because a slow cooker is a constant appliance used in my home. Hope this helps someone. ... show more
