    • Nice little fridge
It fits in tight places, is reasonably quiet, and has no trouble getting beverages slushy cold. A six-pack of tall IPA fills the top shelf but there's plenty of room below for snacks along with space for larger bottles in the door. The space between the freezer and drip tray will hold a few items as well. What used to known as a freezer compartment is now referred to as a “chillier compartment" because it doesn’t get cold enough to keep ice cream hard. That’s really always been the case with internal freezer compartments but the change should help keep expectations more realistic. It works great for chilling a glass if you don’t mind laying it down and does get cold enough to make ice. I like to use small dixie cups for ice instead of the annoying tiny trays. Big ice doesn’t water down your drink as fast and lasts longer. The smallest cups stand up nicely in the “chiller compartment”. Packing and shipping issues are supposed to be posted elsewhere because they really have no bearing on the on product itself. However, since there are so many comments here about shipping damage, I would like to point out that mine arrived in decent condition. There was a small cosmetic dent in a rear corner after traveling all the way from Stockton, CA to SE Alaska including a transfer to a barge. Not bad. Nasty new plastic smell from the inside, scrubbed it down to solve. The fridge is much bigger then what you could perceive from the pictures, make sure you measure where this is going! Compressor is very quiet, occasional clicks and pops from the relay but hardly noticeable. It took some 3 hours to go from out of the box to cooling a couple of standard warm water bottles into nice cold water on setting 3/6! Plenty of room to store couple of mlik/juice cartons inside and on the door. The freezer isn't that great but it can freeze exposed water into ice over time (ice trays). Comes with a drip tray for the freezer, every now and then you must clear the excess water that drips off from the freezer into the tray. Unit pulls 1.5amps with 3amps peak when the compressor kicks in. Packaging is very tight, punctures and dents onto the box has a chance to scratch/dent the actual fridge. It only has a styrofoam cage and some plastic wrapping. So if you took a pencil and poked the box on the side from the center you would mark the fridge. Be wary of your local delivery ups/fedex and how they handle local packages. The internals of the fridge are taped properly, door/freezer, and door cage handle are all secured in place so no rattling. Received mine in near mint condition with a dent on the side. The fridge cools very well, is super quiet and is bigger then it looks. For the price its a good deal! Mine came with an RCA logo on the door. **Updated review - I got this fridge in 2015, its 2019 now and it still works and works well. You do have to defrost every now and then because of the ice build up around the freezer but it is easy to do. Just turn off the fridge with the dial, take out whatever is in there, leave the door open and put a towel inside to soak up the water and wait for the ice to drop. It takes less than an hour for me. Turn the fridge back on, put everything back and it's done. I throw the block of ice in the sink and let it melt. I love this fridge and it has not let me down yet. God willing it stays that way for longer.** So far so good. I'm disabled and can't move around very well anymore so I have this in my room to keep water bottles and snacks like lunchables and applesauce cups and even containers of cold leftovers. I even keep two trays of ice for water bottles. They're specifically made to put in water bottles and fit perfect in the little freezer. Though be mindful you can't put any other frozen stuff like ice cream because it just doesn't get cold enough.     • Worked for what I needed
I only used it for about a week in between my old fridge breaking and the new one being delivered. Placed it on the counter. It held more than I anticipated. The temp was a little touchy depending how much was in there I had to adjust the temp up and down so it wouldn't freeze. Overall it did the job and I was happy with it. ... show more

    • Great Little Fridge Delivered Fast!
Our refrigerator suddenly died just before we were to leave on vacation. Because of this, we were not able to get a new one delivered until after we came back. Thankfully, Amazon had this great "dorm fridge" that could be delivered in two days. This turned out to be a lifesaver as we were able to store a lot of our items safely in this little fridge while we were away. This little refrigerator works perfectly. It is nice and cold and we were able to get a lot of items into it. Note, this is a dorm-sized fridge, so don't expect to cram a huge amount of items into it.
