Having two timers works out great for me. On some meals, I like to start off on high for a couple of hours and then drop back to low heat for the remaining time. The displays only light up once information is entered... which makes it a bit difficult to read while setting the heat and time.

This Hamilton beach stay or go portable 6 quart crockpot with flex cook is absolutely fantastic! You can set it to cook or set it to cook and then go to warm with a timer or you can set it to stay on warm you can set it on a timer. I love it it’s a great size and even though I am alone I can make meals in bag them up for the freezer. I just made some ham hocks and beans and it turned out to be delicious! This slow cooker/crockpot does exactly what it’s supposed to do and it does it well. It does get very hot on the outside and for those people who give a bad rating because they burned themselves they have no one to blame but themselves it clearly states on the outside of this slow cooker, as well as all crockpots in bold letters, caution, hot surface. If you still get burned, it’s your own fault and you probably run with scissors as well. I definitely would recommend this slow cooker. It appears very well-made.
