Very good product came on time. It was very easily installed. Instructions are pretty descriptive of course I am a carpenter so I'm able to read between the lines a little. Even though I just installed, I'm sure the aluminum polish surface will dull do the weather in time. Just what I needed for a midsize truck I'm sure it would work well for a mini size truck. All the parts were there that I needed. If you are buying these I suggest buying the grip rights so you don't have to drill holes like I did into the rails on the bed of your truck. Price was right what else can I say ... show more

    • Nice box, easy to install at a fair price.
Nicely constructed, easy to install. Could not use the supplied truck bed supports. They go on the box corner and restrict the ability to slide in 4x8 sheets of material. Made my box corner supports from Simpson straps that I bent on the lower end to attach to the truck bed and moved the upper flat part in from the corner about three inches. Now I can slide in full sheets of plywood and they lay flat in the truck bed. Also, be careful what you place in the 3" wide shelf inside the box. My 1/2" socket set slide against the lock mechanism and I couldn't open the box. Had to drill out the pop rivets and remove the lock. I bought "L" brackets at the big orange store and installed with self tapping screws on either side of the lock so nothing could interfere with the lock movement. Something Better Built should have thought of. ... show more

There’s no sense of me putting pictures up because you have to make your own judgment call. This box is so lightweight. I could literally press it together into a ball of dough. I’m probably gonna spend more time doing this review that they did welding it. It came with one key only. You better be prepared to drill and rivet some holes in this thing to connect it to your truck bed. I see a lot of reviews talking about the fact that if you’re a real contractor, you don’t mind doing that. Not for this money. You have to cut the metal because it’s too long which was not fun. And you have to drill holes into this thing and rivet it and then close the holes up so it doesn’t leak moisture. I’m only using this temporary, so I hope it doesn’t break. For the price- can’t be beat. Just remember though- these are aluminum, not steel. So if it’s tough you need, go for steel. These are great for function and space organization. Makes my truck look like a work truck. Cuz, thems is purdy!

Better built 63012334 Arrived OPEN and DAMAGED without and/or NO Hardware or Instructions in the box. Please Mail the Instructions & Bolt Kit to Install Chrome Side Mounts (Chrome Side Mount Installation Kit). Better Built Service is the WORSE.

not as disappointed with the lightweight material- as I was at first at $129 it was reasonably priced and now a few days later: it's quite a bit higher, I am assuming the 35 % price hike was due to demand and not anything else my other box from HD are built so much better , you can walk on them- not these !! on the other hand if they are installed well they should serve ok for the task so I will raise it to 4 stars on the condition that you return the price to what it was and stop trying to take advantage of the consumers !! ... show more
