For me, this is the perfect size! I love all the different compartments. I especially like the little clear zippered pouches that are inside. They can Velcro to the bag itself. This is a nice compact size, but it’s a lot of stuff and keeps it extremely organized.

I put many large spools of thread, elastic, appliques, needle threaders, clothing patches, buttons, crochet hooks, scissors, tape measure & SO MUCH MORE in the many pockets, sections and zippered areas! Bought this for my mom for Mother's Day and she loved it! She is 84 yrs old and has never owned a sewing bag to put all of her sewing stuff in. She's always had hers in a big plastic bin bcz she had so much stuff that she felt like that was what she needed. So finally I got tired of watching her go through the plastic bin searching for items that I decided I was going to buy this and it has been the best gift I have bought her in years! I so wish I had done it sooner! This organizes everything so well and when you're organized you can fit more items in. So ladies if you're looking for something to organize all your sewing stuff this is it and it holds so much! If you need more you can always buy some attachments to fit other stuff but this was a great purchase and the purple color helps the other people in the house know what to get for her when she says to get her purple sewing kit lol
