Bought this to replace original mattress used with this for my first son 3 years ago. I had purchased bassinet gentle used. Mattress pad was always very thin, but worked fine for the 8 weeks I used it on 2018 with first baby. My son did get a little bit of a flat head - not sure if it was how thin original was or something else. Friends recently borrowed it and I just got it back out for baby #2 and wanted to upgrade mattress. This new mattress replacement is definitely better quality than the old. Holds its shape great , way thinker when I pinch between 2 fingers. Glad I bought this. Will not be using old pad- makes me wonder if original quality was that poor or if it had been washed before I purchased it causing quality to break down. (I never had to wash it) ... show more

Exactly what I needed. Padding and durability is great. Appearance was amazing and thickness was perfect. I messed up my other one I had by washing it. (It was a hand me down so it was just best to buy a brand new one) fits perfect for the halo bassinet glider highly recommend
